What is Shardlight?

The app is a point-and-click adventure game set in a post-apocalyptic world where the remaining population is struggling to survive under the rule of the Aristocracy. The protagonist, Amy Wellard, is a young mechanic who gets involved in a covert war between the Aristocracy and the rebel group Danton. The game explores themes of disease, hunger, death, and the struggle for power in a dystopian society.

Techno Babylon is my favorite of their games, but this was a very close 2nd. Outstanding story line and character development. So much so I feel like this could have been a movie or tv series. I love point and click puzzle games, so if you do too, this is a must play.

You can’t do much better than this in the point-and-click genre. Wonderfully engaging, great music, and a satisfying story. It’s the kind of game that you miss once it’s over. About 3-5 days of gameplay depending on your free time.
