1. With our app you’ll be able to enjoy and access all the contents: film releases, live football, with all the league matches and international competitions, the most popular series, children’s TV, programmes, documentaries, games, books, magazines, music and many other services.

2. You can go online with your devices and make the most of your travelling time by working or enjoying films, live football matches, your favourite series and much, much more.

3. PlayRenfe is the Wi-Fi connectivity and entertainment platform on board Renfe’s AVE and AVLO services and at commuter stations.

4. Go to your device’s settings and select the PlayRenfe Wi-Fi network that you’ll find on the train.

5. - Your +Renfe card number; enter the ID card or passport number with which you’re registered with +Renfe as the password.

6. - Your ticket number (you can scan the QR code on your ticket).

7. This service is available throughout the journey.

8. Identify yourself.

9. Recommended version of the PlayRenfe app: iOS 13.0 or higher (compatible with earlier versions, for which some features may not be available).

10. NOTE: iOS version 15.0 is currently not fully supported.

Install PlayRenfe app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using PlayRenfe on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "PlayRenfe"
The search will reveal the PlayRenfe app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once PlayRenfe is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including PlayRenfe.
Now enjoy PlayRenfe on PC.

Doesn’t work with foreign number

It wouldn’t send the pin to my number, then I couldn’t even access the customer service because it says my foreign number is invalid.
Requires passport to use

I find it very strange how it requires a passport number to just use WiFi, but apparently that’s a requirement of the Spanish government.
App doesn’t work
