1. This CredibleMeds Mobile App supports the CredibleMeds.org website which maintains and posts lists of drugs in categories that reflect their ability to prolong the QT interval on the electrocardiogram and/or cause the life-threatening heart arrhythmia, torsades de pointes (TdP).

2. The CredibleMeds Mobile App was developed for patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome, healthcare professionals and research scientists in order to provide them with ready access to the most up-to-date version of the CredibleMeds lists of drugs.

3. For healthcare professionals and research scientists, the QTdrugs Lists can be used to identify which drugs can cause QT prolongation or TdP.

4. For patients with Congenital Long QT Syndrome, the drugs and risk categories are described and presented separately as the Drugs to Avoid in cLQTS.

5. The App also provides background information on the categories of drug risk and explains the relationship between QT prolongation and TdP.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using CredibleMeds on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "CredibleMeds"
The search will reveal the CredibleMeds Mobile app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once CredibleMeds is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including CredibleMeds.
Now enjoy CredibleMeds on PC.

I love this app. It has been so helpful in preventing me from taking a medication that could adversely effect me. However, it needs to be updated more frequently. And ability to search by name brand rather than active ingredients. There are still several medicines that do not show up when searched for. But, other than that, wonderful tool!
