Nothing but still screen shots

The only interaction with this "the app pond" is to make a still live photo type screen shot animate by touching it. The original the app pond had few interactions but they definitely produced an effect (my kids favorite thing is to scare the fish by splashing the water). Unfortunately this one has no such interaction in spite of the description, and the old one will not be supported much longer. The only similarity is the icon (which was clearly lifted directly from the original). Don't bother with "app support " as it just takes you to an "app of the day" sales site, which was actually infuriating enough to get me to write this review rather than just blow off the 99 cents lost.

Does NOT work as described, misleading crappy “app”

I enjoyed original the app Pond. I read the reviews for this product, but a version summary implied several recent “fixes” so I took a chance. Don't bother; all those one-star reviews still apply. This is worth less than one star. It really is bad video clips of live fish in shallow tanks. There's no “dragging your finger” through the water or anything else similar to the original...no beautiful animation; no interaction; no control over lighting, background, fish, flora, insects, effects, sounds. This is a piece of crap, falsely advertised. Does not do what the description says it will do.

Not the classic, waste of money

I thought the low reviews must be due to a more sophisticated, modern audience that wouldn't appreciate the simple, classic the app pond app.
This is a rip-off, complete with stolen icon and boot/splash screen from the original.
This is a collection of fish video that I guess you could set as wallpaper, but what it really is, is a bold attempt to get your $0.99. Don't fall for it like I did.😠

Not the interactive pond, just fish video

Thought this was the old the app Pond app, since the icon was the same one I used to have. It’s not the old app at all and the description is not what it really is. It’s just some small video backgrounds you can use for backgrounds. If you are looking for the app that you can touch the fish and scare them away, this is NOT it!!
