Download and install the CMX Cinemas app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using CMX Cinemas on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "CMX Cinemas"
- The search will reveal the CMX Cinemas app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once CMX Cinemas is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including CMX Cinemas.
- Now enjoy CMX Cinemas on PC.

- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing CMX Cinemas:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "CMX Cinemas" » Click "Install" to install CMX Cinemas
- CMX Cinemas will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Weird navigation. Wallet doesn’t work.

Had no issues finding the movie I wanted, picked my seat, and bought the ticket. Problem was it took me a few minutes to figure out where my movie pass was at, which is buried in your account information after you make the purchase. Figured I’d save the pass to apple wallet. Wrong. Kept getting a pop-up saying “wallet not available”. App needs a lot of work still. Take some notes from AMC Theaters and Regal Cinemas. No issues with their apps.

Took 15 minutes to figure out how to change default Miami location which changed finally and after dumb luck but still made little sense, claiming the theatre to be 15 feet from my house...which is 8 miles away.
And then the app charges booking fees worth the price of another ticket..who is dumb enough to give away their hard earned money? just go to box office and pay regular over-priced amounts and then maybe you can afford a coke...

Wallet error

The look of the app is nice along with the purchase process when buying a movie ticket. My issue is when I want to add the movie pass to my Apple wallet. Keep getting an error “wallet not available”. And to make matters worst, the navigation to find your purchase history is like a needle in a haystack.

Needs to show which seats are together

Update: this app rejects every payment made from the app but charges my card and then immediately refunds it. Please fix!!
This app is fine. But it ABSOLUTELY needs to show which seats are together otherwise you don’t know, each theater is different. Please update. When buying at the ticket counter the screens shows which seats are together.
