What is Tempest Weather?

The Tempest app is a weather app that requires the Tempest sensor device to function. It guides users through the setup process and provides real-time weather conditions, lightning and rain alerts, and accurate forecasts. The app is also compatible with popular smart home and irrigation services and features patented Nearcast Technology™ for improved forecast accuracy.

Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:

The Weather Flow Air and Sky hardware are great innovations. I really like the fact that they are capable of providing a full spectrum of Weather data; without the need for bulky, unsightly hardware. The ease of setup and use are truly appreciated, along with the fact that (unlike Competitors) there is no annual subscription fee to access the data remotely. The app is fairly good; but there is room for improvement. I would like to have the ability to create custom graphs; with multiple data point overlays. (Allow the ability to simultaneously view precipitation, wind speed, temperature, etc. on a single graph; using different colors to distinguish between each data point). The one other major feature that I would like to see is the ability to see average or cumulative data over a custom selection of Date/Time. (Physical Numbers, not Graphs). For example, how much rain was detected between Time X and Time Y. While the graph displays accumulations by day, it would be nice to be able to determine the total from a multi-day storm, or how much was recorded for an entire month. For Temperatures, it would be nice to determine the average High, Low and Overall Average temperature over a selected range of dates. Saving major data statistics (Temp., Precipitation, Humidity ...) on iOS device, for historical comparison would be extremely useful for evaluating how Electrical and Water usage may have been impacted by the weather.

I have been super stoked with my new WeatherFlow Smart Weather Station... and particularly the lightening sensing and notifications. We live where storms can fire up rapidly coming of the mountains, and can have little warning of severe weather. We have kids out riding bikes and playing on the lake, and the lightening alerts give us timely heads-up on developing activity so we can make sure everyone is safe. I have seen the first strike from a developing storm 5 miles away, and have had the alert before I hear the thunder. Amazing!

This is a very cool update for that app. I really like the daily history log easy to read and quick reference. I would like to see in the future more color coded section, more interactive, wind graphs, possible integrated weather map. But any ways this is a really good update. The weather station is awesome and I recommend the weather station and app. Easily 5 out 5 stars ! Keep up the great work, I look forward to future updates and new products!! Thanks !!
Great for iPad and iPhone

App works well on my iPad always on display and on the iPhone too. Just the right amount of main screen content without being busy. Really like how I can move the display cards around to prioritize what live readings are most important to me. Feature rich with graphs, device status, and smart integration capabilities. Simple setup and easy to use for the whole family.
