  • Fantastic. A must-have.

    By Poopnifecent! (Pcmac user)

I downloaded this app the month it came out, little over two years ago. I remember sending “Let’s Play Tanks!” to a friend of mine, long before this app had gained much popularity. In return, I got text saying: “what.” She was amazed that we could play games over text! Soon, she and I had gotten our entire friend group playing this app. Our favorites are 8 Ball, Cup Pong, and good old Tanks. There are few things we’d change. First of two, the instruction manuals. For two years they’ve said “coming soon,” which is, brutally but honestly, annoying. To speak freely, either publish the instruction manuals or remove them entirely. They are no help now, and it seems like they won’t be for a while to come. Second, the Premium version. I understand that since you don’t use many ads on your app (which I praise you for,) you need to make money another way. But, for the financial aid of the company and the customer, I suggest taking the price down from $4.99 to $2.99. Not only does this benefit the customers, because we will be saving money on your product, but certainly more people will buy Premium, which benefits you too! If that’s not a possibility, then perhaps a seasonal discount? For example, from December 15th to the end of the year, Premium was half-off? These are just suggestions, but I honestly and genuinely believe they would benefit everybody. Thanks for reading!
  • Perfect except for one thing

    By IM SAMM (Pcmac user)

Ok so this game is definitely worth downloading I live everything about it except for one thing. I wish you could get different customizations by earning rewards or something like that within each game mode like maybe a basketball jersey if you get thirty points in one match or if you win a bunch of them because I like the feeling of earning something after playing the game for a while. The ads are non Intrusive which is a great accomplishment because most games are not at all like that. Overall such a great game😃👍 Take 2: I think you could also add some kind of in game currency that you earn in game and you could buy either things to make your person look cooler or buy something in game for example save up to buy some kind of whatever it is called that you hit the ball with in eight ball and buy a skin for it that makes it look cool but doesn't give you any more accuracy or anything like that because it would make anyone you played with not want to play with you because you're stick thing that you hit the ball with made you win every time . Take 3: I think you could add a practice mode where you could either go against AI of varying difficulty or just play alone so you don't have to wait for a friend to play every time that you want to play.
  • Play it with my grandkids!

    By GrandpaTurtle (Pcmac user)

I was introduced to this app today by my 10 year old grandson who lives nearly 3 hours away (so I don’t get to see him as often as I’d like). We played “Tanks” first, then he pops up another game, “Basketball” so we’re playing these for about 20 minutes back & forth. In the meantime his 8 year old sister gets a little jealous and wants some Grandpa Turtle time for herself. So she gets on her MOTHER’S phone & begins texting me a game to play with HER, “Cup Pong!” It was a delightful Sunday afternoon to enjoy some entertaining fun with my grandkids even though we were miles apart. The 10 year old has his own iPad & is able to play via email somehow (MMS?) but even though I don’t understand how it all works I’m glad I can play it easily on my smart phone via texting. I’m also glad there are so many different kinds of games to play... but this makes it more difficult to stop! Thank you for the simplicity of the creative games, for the variety, and for the opportunity it affords me to spend a little fun time with my wonderful grandkids! Only ONE suggestion: would it be possible to add a ‘practice’ feature to some of the games? For example, both the Dart and Archery games are awesome, but very challenging for the younger players. I think it would help if there was a practice mode available initially. Just a suggestion.
  • Good app but...

    By skippythedoctor (Pcmac user)

Ok, first overall this app is great. It is good for when you and your friend want to chill and have fun playing games, but there is a downside. The games can get a little confusing or weird like knockout and paintball. They are kind of just straight luck and also hard to understand. like how you just point your arrows towards the target and you ether go a different way or have way to much power than you intended it to be. Also if you don’t buy an in game add on, you can’t really change anything to your game or make in game progress without spending money. What I would recommend is you have certain achievements that you can unlock and those achievements give you points you can spend on a style or design. Also, if no one wants to play with you, you can’t really do it and if they don’t have the app there’s no point in having it. Back to the point of how hard to understand the games are there is nothing to help you. I have tried the game manuals on the games that aren’t easy to understand and there isn’t one to read. But all over that, the game is a good and convenient way to have fun with your friends over texting. There is a wide variety of games and options to choose from that are a lot of fun! It is a great game but just needs some tweaks
