If you want to install and use the Motion Stills - GIF, Collage app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Motion Stills - GIF, Collage for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Motion Stills - GIF, Collage for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Motion Stills - GIF, Collage in the search bar and press Search. Click on Motion Stills - GIF, Collage application icon. A window of Motion Stills - GIF, Collage on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Motion Stills - GIF, Collage icon. Click on it and start using the application.

  • Watermark setting way too hard to find

I find the results from this app fantastic. Export to gif really is something Apple should support natively. HOWEVER - Motion Stills defaults to including a tacky watermark in the exported files that is not shown in the preview screen. For the longest time, I was convinced there was no way to turn it off. The only indication that settings existed was in the camera pane - a button I was unable to use because I don’t allow apps camera access. I had incorrectly assumed that these setting would only apply to the camera anyway. WRONG - all the useful settings are in that menu. IT EVEN HAS A CHECKBOX FOR DISABLING THE WATERMARK. If the watermark were disabled by default, this app would be 5 stars. If the setting menu were on the home screen where it belongs, it would get 4. As it stands, defective UI design and repellant opt-out defacement of exported images really count against it.

1 star more because there hasn’t been an update in 8 months than for the functionality of the app itself. That being said, I think there are still a couple changes this app needs made in order to make it as useful as I hoped of it. 1. The ability to edit and cut the length of the video (giving the whole thing to choose from, not just the stabilized portion) 2. Not sure how to word this exactly, but the ability to decide what the reference for stabilization should be, so that I could choose which part of the scene I intended to be still.
  • Genius app

Love the functionality of playing with live photos and how cool it is to make a movie from them or export new live photos. I just really really wish there were two other things: -the ability to navigate my photo feed by selecting an album or even just choosing a point in time easier than having to scroll backwards forever. Or am I just missing it? -using the whole live photo!! Not just the part that is stable. I want the whole thing please for making new live photos! Thanks team you're the best and this is one of my favorite apps!

I love the app. Use it constantly to post gif to twitter. The only thing that would make it even better is if it has file size target, so we can have biggest gif image resolution to maximum Twitter gif size limit.

This is a seriously nice app, only complaint is that it’s not intuitively obvious that you can turn off the watermarking “feature”
  • Water Mark slipped into an update???

What the heck! Now there is a watermark that I can’t disable that wasn’t there for the first multitude of Live Photo videos I have made using your app! I even tried to see if there was a small fee that would get rid of the water mark and NOTHING! I used to love your app and now I’m looking elsewhere.

This is a great app for iPhone. Very simple easy to use. I do wish however you could trim parts off the gif and was also able to mess with speed slightly

It prints a cheesy “motion stills!” Logo on whatever I output, making it useless for anything I’d want it for. Totally cheesy.
