Install Vidmote app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Vidmote on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Vidmote"
The search will reveal the Vidmote app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Vidmote is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Vidmote.
Now enjoy Vidmote on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Vidmote Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Vidmote,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Vidmote" » then Click "Install".
- Vidmote will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Vidmote Connection Problem

This App has proven to be unreliable in terms of its ability to connect the Iwatch to the IPhone. As a solution, I tried turning putting both the phone and the watch in Airplane mode, and that effort occasionally fixed the problem. To ensure the problem was the App, and not the devices, I concurrently attempted to connect using the 'off the shelf' iPhone camera and watch, and had no problems making the connection. Unfortunately, you can't control the video portion of the camera (only still photos) with the 'off the shelf' features from Apple. Frustrating.
