If you want to install and use the Maven – Car Sharing app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use this app for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Maven – Car Sharing in the search bar and press Search. Click on Maven – Car Sharing application icon. A window of Maven – Car Sharing on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the icon. Click on it and start using the application.

Step 4: for Mac OS

Hi. Mac user!
The steps to use this app for Mac are exactly like the ones for Windows OS above. All you need to do is install the Nox Application Emulator or Bluestack on your Macintosh. The links are provided in step one

  • WORST experience ever! HORRIBLE customer service

    I didn't even get to use their cars tags the sad part. I made a reservation for 24 hours received confirmation and I headed out to the station to pick up said car when I arrived. I go into the app where it tells me it had been cancelled mind you they had charge my bank card 2x!!! So I proceed to call customer service since I had made my way all the way there to see what was the issue. When I spoke to the rep she explained to me that " my account was suspended" (keep in my this is my first time ever attempting to make a reservation) I asked her why that was the case and she didn't know. So I ask her "why was I allowed to make a reservation to begin with and then charged twice for it. She tells me she doesn't know and there is nothing she can do but I can speak to her supervisor Kevin and he wasn't much help. He told me to email member services and they'd get back to me within 5 days to review the account. I tell him at this point I could care less about the account being suspended, I just want my money back immediately. He tells me there's nothing he can do bc he has to get in contact with member services himself and has no contact info for them other than email smh. Thankfully my bank was amazing and blocked these charges bc if I had to deal with maven directly about my money I'd be screwed. NEVER rent from them. ReachNow is way better and even Enterprise car sharing is better!

    I had a maven car breakdown! I had it towed to the nearest authorized dealer ship -Note a problem (alternator went out dealership said it’s under warranty will fix for free ) I’ve notified maven serval times about the situation did not hear back For about a week Finally I did get one response saying that they have received their car I was waiting for a response about receiving another car or something to get this resolved again I have tried to email contact maven many times again another two weeks pass by they said they have suspended my account again I tried email several times another week pass by I finally got a response they said they can suspend anybody’s Without any reason I replied you got to be kidding me this was totally not my fault that the car broke down have not heard from maven since they charged me twice for rental but yet I’m suspended I’m confuse of your illegal practice I still haven’t got paid reimbursed for the tow of your vehicle you guys are very very horrible you treat your customers like garbage how dare you So difficult to work with maven I had to contact my bank to reverse rental charges since I had no vehicle in my possession only thing that I have not gotten reimburse us for the toe of their vehicle Considering a class-action lawsuit may be the only solution

    This is my FIRST Time ever taking time out of My Schedule to Review an App but I felt it was surely worth it . I LOVE MAVEN !! I usually tend to rent cars from your everyday rental places (ie enterprise, advantage and so on) but I stumbled upon this app from an advertisement & thought it wasn’t possible to have such a convenient hassle free rental process so I thought I should try it out ... Sure enough , HASSLE FREE . Of coarse , people look at the prices and think it may be too expensive but it’s not . Gas is included , insurance is included , Wi-Fi is included , and soooo much more convenient . Booking is made simple , choosing your car is as easy as a simple tap on your smart phone . Not to mention the car selection is amazing , they have a little something for everyone . You want to Know what’s the Best Part ? You can Rent by the Hour !!!! I tend to always rent by the day but how convenient is that ?! I recommend this App to ANY and EVERYONE . You will not be disappointed , all you need is a good driving record and a debit / credit card . You will not be disappointed , I LOVE THIS APP . 💛

    Let me start by saying if you ever want to use a car-sharing company use Car2go totally way better and effectively responsive. My experience with Maven geeks has been the worst experience I have ever has with car-sharing. I have reached out to customer service numerous time in regards to my accounts for them to tell me that my account was permanently deactivated with no information as to why. They told me that I had multiple accounts open and that I need to delete some of the accounts to reserve a vehicle. Once I reached out to customer service to delete the multiple accounts and use the main one. I have never reserved a vehicle. Each time that I would try to reserve a vehicle I have issues every time. I would highly recommend you guys to not use this app, they never respond in a timely manner they is extremely money hungry also with the smallest issues like having two emails on one account they will suspend your account permanently with no explanation. I can go on and on about how my experience with Maven is been the worst and keep in mind that I never got a chance to reserve any vehicle that they have due to me having two email on one account. I strongly dislike this app.. Use CAR2GO !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I’ve never had any issues.

  • Hidden fees; incompetent service

    Try Turo, Car2go, or a traditional rental place before using this terrible app. Being offered a car at about $15/hr is one thing. Walking away with a $288 bill for three hours is quite another. I could have rented a car for a week for what this cost me. When I disputed the charges with their customer “service” I was told they were working on it and would get back to me. Days later, what do I get? A copy of my invoice. That’s not an explanation nor is it a resolution of the problem. I’m taking this fraud to my credit card company, and I’m never using this scam rental service again.

    I thoroughly enjoyed the suburban that I rented everything went smooth without a hitch. I would recommend this app to everyone who rents cars. It was a godsend for my nieces prom.

    This app tries to trick you into spending more money than you plan on spending. All of the pricing is very opaque and will go up without telling you why (for example they raise the hourly rate without telling you if you try to book in advance). At this point it’s been made pretty clear to me that this company doesn’t care about me. I recommend Getaround as an alternative car rental service, in past experiences their customer service has been very helpful and understanding.

    muy mal servicio al cliente, tengo tres meses tratando de resolver unnproblema con ellos y no lo he logrado. MUY MAL SERVICO AL CLIENTE. Very bad customer service, I have three months trying to solve a problem with them and I have not succeeded. VERY BAD SERVICE TO THE CUSTOMER.

    The app keeps updating according to the maven representatives. When this happens, reservations and billing can be affected. They claim if a car gets taken during this time it’s nothing they can do and they insist that you keep calling ever few hours. Seems like once money gets taken successfully things are fine, when the app and company has glitches, they’ll still take your money and possibly have you in a negative balance. All that due to their app not working. What’s the point of the updates if it slows down everything and leaves the customer in a bad place?..

    If I could give this company zero stars I would. I run a tech company and never have I ever used something so inefficient in my career. Completely makes a company like Zipcar look like a genius. Think twice and give yourself a lot of time to troubleshoot the app because it simply doesn’t work. Feel really bad for their customer services reps.
  • Totally non-reliant car rental company

    We showed up to the valet garage that had our maven car. They pull up the car and I go to check in on my maven app and the rental shows up as cancelled. I then call maven and they can’t tell me why they cancelled the reservation or what happened or why I was never notified of the cancellation. There only suggestion was to go and book another maven car and give me a $10 promotion code for the inconvenience. It was Mother’s Day weekend so of course there are no other cars available and we were then forced to figure out different travel arrangements that Maven said they would not reimburse. I will never be using this company again and I recommend that if you want a guaranteed car rental, this is not a viable option for that.

    This is by far the worst car rental place I ever rented a car from even through a 3rd party a car rental places are better than this like this was horrible when I got to the car the car was pretty much on E and the battery didn’t even start up when I had the car so they had to jump the car and the gas is on E I go to the Uber greenlight hub and guess what they tell me the registration is not even valid a check the registration the registration doesn’t even start until June 20 and today is May 10 how in the hell am I going to drive a car. I can get pulled over and get a ticket for this just because they didn’t give me a valid registration and this weekend I was going to make $700 this week and now I can’t make anything because now I have to wait to Monday to get a valid registration. I need a full week free for this inconvenience. Horrible. And customer service cant do anything at all. Why have them
