Install iMic - Use your phone as a microphone app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using iMic on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iMic"
- The search will reveal the iMic - Use your phone as a microphone app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once iMic is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iMic.
- Now enjoy iMic on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native iMic Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use iMic,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "iMic" » then Click "Install".
- iMic - Use your phone as a microphone will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Short term use says it's good

I tried this app out for a little bit to see if it would work. I know there are several other apps like this out there that don't work very well. I was impressed with it. The app automatically gates the audio when it detects feedback to protect your ears and speakers.

Doesn’t work for what you need

This does not work for Apple TV karaoke because you can’t have the microphone app open while in karaoke app. I got the impression that is what it was supposed to do.
