Install GalaPro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using GalaPro on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "GalaPro"
The search will reveal the GalaPro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once GalaPro is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including GalaPro.
Now enjoy GalaPro on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use GalaPro,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "GalaPro" » then Click "Install".
- GalaPro will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I recently have used this app twice, once in Atlanta and once in Manhattan. I was disappointed each time bc the app was out of sync. The first time in Atlanta, the app froze for a minute or two every ten minutes. The second time in Manhattan, the syncing was too fast and way ahead of the script. I am optimistic that this app is a worthwhile and a work in progress for the hearing impaired like me. July 7th 2019: Finally, blissful success! While at the Music Box Theatre in Manhattan,I used this app and marveled at the perfect synchronization. I noticed that it corrected itself if the sync went to fast or two slow. I look forward to more experiences like this one where I could enjoy following the dialogue with 100% accuracy. On another note, in conjunction with this app, I also used the T- coil headset at several Manhattan theatres. After experiencing an annoying beep during the second acts, I finally hit on a solution suggested by the staff member at the Music Box. I obtained a freshly charged battery for the T coil headset from the staff. Results? No more annoying beeps! Other staffs at the other theaters attributed the beeping to their internet connection. Kudos to the Music Box and their amazing staff!
Life saver for Hard-of-Hearing Theatre Lover!

I can’t thank you enough for creating this app. It’s been so helpful at shows as I am hard of hearing. The best part of the app is that the captions are always accurate and the screen is never distracting for other theatre goers. Additionally, connecting to the wifi in the theatre makes it so that you won’t get notifications from any other app. My only complaint is that I wish there were more shows available with this feature! Keep expanding! And thank you so much!
School of Rock

Wow! What an awesome concept. I really enjoyed using this at School of Rock. The text was 95% accurate, minus some ad libs from the cast. I liked that it was dark so I don’t think it disturbed other people. It moves really fast but that is more due to the speed of musical. Can’t wait to see how this app does! Only problem I can see happening: there will be confusion why people have phones out. Ushers, security, cast, and crew will not be able to tell if person is using app or filming.
Very useful, subtle, and effective

I downloaded this just before a play when I heard it was available. Very easy to get connected, very easy to use. My concern at first is that it would look like I had my phone out during the play, but the choice of colors and such made it very subtle yet very effective in the dim light of the theater. Looking forward to the next time I can use the app, and will recommend it to theaters that don’t use it.
