Just started using it and already see issues
By kkarin (Pcmac user)
I downloaded the app yesterday. I love the concept, hence 3 stars. I’ve used a lot of parking apps but am already struggling with this one. First, there are a lot of icons on the map and it is unclear which ones represent parking spots. That shouldn’t be something I am struggling with. I keep clicking on the little icons to see if it will show a spot or it’s just a landmark. Also, once I find spots, I have no idea how far they are from where I am going. Yes, there is a map in front of me, but I would like to know how long a walk/drive it will be from the location and maybe the path I will need to take. I don’t feel like this app is ready for prime time without those things. Lastly, yesterday, while downtown, there were spots next to me which was great but they were priced exactly the same as available street parking. Maybe the idea is that the app offers parking at below garage rates but I would have hoped that they would be somewhat better than city rates too. On the other hand, they were probably better than garage rates and the idea of a network of available private spots is very useful. The app Indictates if a spot is “available” or “occupied” which is great. I’m a bit concerned still that in a rush, I will get to a spot listed as available and find it occupied or not be able to find it at all and have no one to contact for immediate help. In any case, I plan on trying the service.

Downloaded this app to find some parking in New York and couldn’t even figure out how to get to the map... definitely needs some work but a great idea
