Scattergories for Pc

The app is great, this app is one of my all time favorite games, leading me to download this. It works pretty great for some of the time, but other times, it just won’t open. It gets stuck on “updating” for anywhere from 2-4 minutes, I click the this app game, then it takes me to a maroon and black gradient colored screen. It will remain like this for a few minutes before saying that the app is having a connection issue. I wouldn’t complain about this if it happened a few times, but this is every day for many hours. It’s frustrating, and I would like this issue fixed. Again, it’s a great game, but this issue is becoming very annoying.

I’ve had this game for a few years now. I’ve topped out at level 99, which is annoying, but I still continue to play. I took a year long or so break because it wouldn’t load on my new phone. When I came back, it has gotten even more agitating than it was before. The keyboard has always been a piece of junk, impossible to type on without a careful concerted effort, but it’s even worse now that they don’t allow any room for error. You see, before, if you got very close to the correct spelling of an acceptable answer, it corrected it for you and counted it. Oh, but not anymore! You spell Jimmy Buffet, and not Buffett, welp too bad! When you push the space button, it doesn’t give you a space, but you already typed the other words and time has run out to go back and erase. Before, if you sent it in, it accepted it and spaced it for you. Not anymore! I put in “rattle snake” with a space because I thought that’s the correct spelling. They didn’t take it because apparently it’s one word. So unless you are a spelling whiz (which I try to be) and have a grammar PhD, you might as well skip this game. This is only one complaint of many I’ve had long established with this game, but I finally wrote this review because playing it is now mostly frustrating and very little fun.

this app is my favorite board game. I was really happy to see the app. But there are so many issues that it just makes it frustrating and not worth it to play. The keyboard is glitchy and difficult to type on. I spend too much of my game time trying to go back and put in a letter that it didn’t record. Then many times the game ends and it records a different answer than what I typed. Also, I was playing with my sister and I knew she finished the round, as she sent me a text telling me we picked several of the same answers. I kept going back to the game to view results and play the next one and it still said it was her turn. I closed out completely and went back in, still her turn. Finally after 2 hours it alerted me that she had played. If this app didn’t have so many issues I would definitely pay for the no ad version. You guys are missing out on ad revenue and paid customers because of these same issues that, per the other reviews, have been going on a long time.

This was fun for awhile, but the app just gets worse and worse. First, lately it hardly even loads. What’s the use of trying to play tournaments when you can only get it to work once a day? Second, after you play for awhile, you end up only being able to play about two games at a time unless you win (to earn more coins) or unless you are willing to pay money to play further. When I first started out, there were more rewards. But as I advanced, there were fewer rewards and fewer coins available to win. Speaking of winning, it’s hard to win when they change your answers or don’t realize what your answer means. I guess sometimes they change it to something that benefits you, but sometimes they change it and then they throw it out. Also they have a super sensitive “offensive word” filter, but then that means if the word you wrote happens to have a PART of a word that MIGHT seem offensive, you can’t use it at all and you don’t get counted for it...even if it’s not even remotely a bad word. So yeah, I love this app, but this one is way too frustrating to mess with.
