Simply Card Suite for Pc

I normally don’t write reviews for apps because I usually feel like people can make up their own minds without reading what I have to say, but on this app I felt like I needed to break my own rule. I have been a long time user of the older version of this spades game. I actually held off upgrading my IOS version when I got a message that this older version would not run on v11 of IOS. But alas a new cell phone forced me to the new version of both. I must say this version of the game misses the mark badly. They took away the ability to “pick” your level of opponent hence you lose the ability of choosing the AI personality to play against. This new version I have found on both hard and hardest level they AI spends so much time trying to give you bags it rarely makes it own bid. I have played at least a dozen games so far and I have yet to see my opponent with a positive score. Then speaking of scoring. They have changed the scoring or bags taking away the idea of “team” and making even your partner play low to not get bags even if you bid nil. Of which the old version game you a 100 points for and this one gives you 50 with no way to set it how you want. Overall I used to play this game for stress relief now I find myself more stressed after trying to play it. My advice, pass this version up. I feel robbed having paid again for this update just to have the ads removed.

I used to play this game all the time. It was quick and the AI was pretty good. You could fool it from time to time but all in all it felt similar to how friends play. Now the AI is incredibly frustrating. It’s gone the complete opposite and seems like they are willing to take sets just to load bags on you. And the new point system is TERRIBLE. I’ve been playing Spades for 20 years and have played all kinds of crazy house rules... never once have I played with anyone that counted bags by individual team member. If my team bids seven and takes seven we shouldn’t be penalized just because I took one less and my partner took one more than our bids. That’s a big part of the game...working together to make your bid. All that system does is add more bags in to the game and drags them out. And for some reason nil bids are only worth 50 now? What’s the point? Might as well just bid the one in your hand than try and dump it because the risk-reward just isn’t there. Bummer to lose a game I’ve been enjoying playing for years

This new version, and technically new game is just terrible. I played simple Spades because it was just SIMPLE. Now, they added a whole new look and feel, but it’s much worse. Here’s why: The game is absolutely slower, the cards being thrown out, selecting bids, and going to the next hand. The game is over animated: why? I can’t even stand to look at the characters because they look like cartoons. I can’t select who I want to play against: In the old game, I could select the players in the game. Thats now gone. They were also based on difficulty. Honestly, I had better games versus a medium and hard difficulty than two hard opponents. They right combination of conservative and aggressive. I played this game all the time. It was my time away from bs life for a few minutes. Now, that is gone because to play this new game, I’ve got to spend an hour waiting for how slow it is, and get upset about how stupid this update was. At least make the old version available for download. Thanks.

This game is fun, I love bid whist I’m a card player. Why does it keep asking you to rate the app (game) then it’s stuck on when you try to rate. It won’t let you do anything. I have to turn my phone off and back on to play the game. I’m thinking I can play, once it’s back on. You are asked to rate the app and it’s stuck again. I give up. Please fix this problem Right now it let me rate but not back to the game SMH
