Software Features and Description

1. This application allows the sending of BOOLEAN, BYTE, WORD and DOUBLE WORD data.

2. To use this application, you must have a running KNX installation which must have an interface with the IP network (KNX/IP Gateway).

3. This application connects and submits data through "Tunnelling Services" provided by the KNXnet/IP protocol.

4. The application works when the iPhone/iPad is connected to the same network as the KNX/IP interface.

5. Basic KNX is an application that allows us to quickly and easily test a KNX installation.

6. For a more complete control of your installation, we invite you to use the Easy KNX application.

7. In future updates, we will add the sending data capability through the "Routing Services".

8. At the moment the application is in English and Spanish.

9. Other languages will be supported in future updates.

10. This can be via Wi-Fi or VPN.

Install Basic KNX app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Basic KNX"
The search will reveal the Basic KNX app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Basic KNX is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Basic KNX.
Now enjoy Basic KNX on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Basic KNX,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Basic KNX" » then Click "Install".
- Basic KNX will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
