What is myStarlims?

The STARLIMS app is designed for Abbott Informatics customers to access their Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) from their iPhone or iPad. The app allows users to perform tasks on the go, increasing productivity and efficiency. With the STARLIMS app, employees can securely access their LIMS data outside of the lab, making it easier to view key performance indicators, approve results, view status reports, and more.

Software Features and Description

1. This app allows Abbott Informatics customers to access their STARLIMS Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) from an iPhone or iPad, with the ability to perform tasks on the go thereby increasing productivity and efficiency.

2. By using the iPhone or iPad to connect to STARLIMS, customer can easily perform tasks such as view key performance indicators, approve results, view status reports and more, so they can make decisions and take action quickly.

3. With the STARLIMS app, our customers can empower their employees to securely access their LIMS data on the go.

4. ***This version of the Starlims mobile app will be supported for STARLIMS Technology versions 11.0.30 and higher.

5. - Use the camera to scan barcodes and query STARLIMS to retrieve data.

6. ***FOR STARLIMS TECHNOLOGY RUNTIME VERSIONS 11.0.30 and higher.

7. The app requires a URL to an existing STARLIMS Server and user credentials.

8. - Use the camera to take photographs and upload them to STARLIMS.

9. - Store the URL of your local STARLIMS installation.

10. - View real-time Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) relating to the performance of your laboratory.

11. - Access the GPS to record location data information when required.

Install myStarlims app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using myStarlims on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "myStarlims"
The search will reveal the myStarlims app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once myStarlims is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including myStarlims.
Now enjoy myStarlims on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use myStarlims,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "myStarlims" » then Click "Install".
- myStarlims will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
