Install Candela - menu for Hue app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Candela on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Candela"
- The search will reveal the Candela - menu for Hue app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Candela is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Candela.
- Now enjoy Candela on PC.

Exactly what I needed

Since Apple provides ZERO Homekit integration for Mac OS, this little app comes in very handy. Super easy setup and it even lets you select which lights to include in the menu. I only want my office LED strip to be controlled by this app so this feature is works out great for me. Five stars from me!

Does what its supposed to.

It does what its supposed to for a good price. One should realize that is reasonably high praise. I could also eaisly add a bunch of feature requests (kelvin tuning, light groups, side bar, etc…) but for the for the price I am certainly not going to complain. It does what it claims to do and does it well.

The U/I of this app is a little confusing, but once you learn it, its easy to use. Only funky thing is that if you use any of the preset lighting combinations and then change it, it seems to duplicate the lights in the menu.
