Subscription issues-Apple is awful!

Horrible response from Apple to my review below!!!!! Apple basically said to contact this app directly and in no way took responsibility for taking my money and not providing access for what I paid for. Fortunately, this app has been awesome to deal with-not Apple! Alyssa at this app has tried to fix the issue, but unfortunately Apple is the one not dealing with it and apparently this app is having issues dealing with Apple as well. Not surprising. They finally responded to my inquiry 5 days after. Seriously?! What kind of customer service is that? Oh wait....it isn’t! Totally disappointed in Apple! I made the mistake of paying for a new subscription through Apple and not directly to this app. The payment has already been approved and yet my status is the same as it was prior to paying. If you’re going to take my money, at least give me the access I’ve paid for. So on top of not having access, I now have to spend time figuring out how to get access and of course that takes more time because god forbid it’s easy to get a hold of someone. Unfortunately I didn’t see the fine print of this app not being responsible or able to do anything if you pay through iOS. I’ll definitely be more careful in the future with apps in general. Not happy about this situation. I’d love to hear back as to how this is going to be resolved.

The app has SO much potential. It is definitely centered around the core of who you are and want to be, so you can really see who might be a match or not. With that said, it’s definitely set up to make you pay for premium. If someone “likes” you (and you’re a free subscriber), they will NEVER be in your daily 10, so you won’t ever get to actually speak with them. I say this because I’ve been on for a month, have many people that have liked me, but none of them have ever come through my dailies. You might be thinking, well there are a lot of people on the site. No. I am getting sent repeats, so that’s not the case. I’m in LA, so there are plenty of people for repeats to not be needed. For an app sent on being a better person, you’d hope they’d set people up for success in finding a partner, not just setting the algorithm in a skeezy way by baiting them to pay the ridiculously high subscription rate. I believe dating apps should be rated on how quickly you’re able to get off. At this pace, I won’t even make a connection that I am interested in for another year or two. TIME WASTE.
Useless unless you pay for it

Unlike other dating apps that let you at least message someone or give you a few free perks this one does not. So absolutely no communicating unless they happen to like you back. Not even a “hi”. On top of that, they only let you see 10 people a day. Some people have their profile info hidden so you can’t even see one thing about them so that’s also strange to me. After a couple of frustrating weeks scrolling through 10 people a day I’m giving up. I’ll stick to the other dating apps that let you browse away and message people. Nice try but throw us a little bit more so we can decide if it’s worth it to pay.
App Recently Broken On iPhone X

I’ve been using the app for more than a year with no issue. But a recent update or the app or website that the app uses has now rendered the app unusable. Also seems like not many people use the service as most days my 10 recommendations are the same. I’ve considered paying for a membership a few times but not currently seeing the value in doing so. Many of the profiles don’t seem very “mindful” either. With that all said it’s still my only dating app. But at this point I’ll probably stay single by choice for another 10 years. Hopefully y’all can fix the app soon, as it’s nice to pretend I might meet someone who be day. Thank you Update: Thanks for the response. But your app is currently so broken you on iPhone X that I can not play the daily matches game. Looks like a CSS type issue but I’m not sure. The top row with the pictures of each user has been broken for sometime. Today I am now unable to hit the X or heart on each profile as they are behind other parts of each profile. Also when the top is broken I can not get to my profile. Please test on iPhone X.
