What is Kakao T?

Kakao T is a mobility app that offers various services to make our lives more comfortable, fun, and valuable. The app has different themed tabs for different services, including taxi, bike and scooter, driver, parking, bus, train, flight booking, rent car, quick and parcel delivery, pet ride, and business travel. The app also offers a Kakao T Point system for easier payment and rewards.

Software Features and Description

1. 5) Bluetooth is used for connecting a mobile phone and a bike when a customer uses the bike service.

Install Kakao T app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

- Convenient and easy to use, even for non-Korean speakers

- Can be used for both taxis and bikes

- Straightforward and easy to understand interface

- Requires a Korean phone number for registration and communication with drivers

- Location accuracy and status of bikes could be improved

- No language selection option in settings

- No reserve feature for bikes, which can be frustrating when trying to find an available one on a hot day.

Interface is Great, Bike Service Needs Improvement

I love this app, and have used it on multiple times to grab a taxi or bike. The app is quite straightforward and easy to understand. However, the overall accuracy of the location and status of each bike could be improved. I usually have to try out 3 bikes at least to find one that is actually in its place, and sometimes it is already being unlocked by someone else. Perhaps you could add a reserve feature, because on a hot day spending 30 minutes outside trying to find the 6th or 7th bike can be very frustrating.

I strongly believe this is the most app I love in korea. It is very convenient and easy to use even if you don’t have Korean language skills.

Every time I am visiting Korea I use the app taxi. Only problem is that I usually get the data only sim card from the airport which has no voice calling. And the app ask for a Korea phone number and sometimes the cab driver will call you if they can't find you. It would be easier if app allows users uses the app ID and the app talk only to register and call as well.
Show drivers’ screen in their preferred language instead of caller’s language

I’ve called drivers multiple times but could not find a driver. Later, by chance, I saw my call destination was shown in English on driver’s screen. This explains why I could not find a driver when my friends could. Also, please allow to select language from settings.
