What is AffdexMe? AffdexMe is an app that uses Affectiva's Affdex Software Developer Kit (SDK) to analyze and respond to facial expressions of emotion in real time using the built-in camera on your iOS device. The app displays metrics measuring expressions and emotions and the most likely emoji icon that matches your facial expression. It also allows users to select desired emotions or expressions to track, switch between front and rear-facing camera, take a snapshot and save to the photo roll. The app's preferences can be used to change the processing frame rate, display facial points, gender and glasses avatar, emoji avatars, and track multiple faces simultaneously.

Install AffdexMe app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using AffdexMe on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "AffdexMe"
The search will reveal the AffdexMe app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once AffdexMe is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including AffdexMe.
Now enjoy AffdexMe on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use AffdexMe,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "AffdexMe" » then Click "Install".
- AffdexMe will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

This doesn’t read black faces... apparently I have a disgusted face all the time. These companies really need to have diverse research done before releasing to public. Come on it’s 2019 already, there are other faces than whites.
Affectiva isn’t so effective!

If this is a demo of Affectiva’s sentiment analysis, it shows that businesses should never hire them! The emotional framework is too simplistic, and it still misjudges my facial expressions most of the time.
