  • This app is a must

    By Zyzxxcore1 (Pcmac user)

I've been playing around with this app for about a day now and I have to say that I am impressed. When using this to stream games from my PC to my phone there is no input lag. For the free version unfortunately you cannot play in HD. There is a redeeming quality for this app and that is that you can use this with a VR headset. To me that is enough to warrant the 4.99 price tag of the pro version. There is one thing that kind of gets on my nerves. That is the head tracking it needs work or either I'm not setting it up right. I'm going to keep trying to get it to work for me. I'm sure I'm doing something wrong with the head tracking. Other than that this is a excellent app for streaming your games from your PC to your phone and also using it as a VR headset
  • Somewhat Works...

    By Mike77660 (Pcmac user)

I got this with the intent to use my Phone with a Google Cardboard Viewer as a VR Headset for my Computer. At first the app didn't show the screen of my computer no matter what I did. Then, a few days later, for some strange reason it started to work (After I tried to use it with Steam Big Picture Mode and not other applications). Soon after it started working as just a regular Remote Access, I found where my Anti-Virus Software kept a list of potentially malicious files, so I could tell it that 2 of the files installed from the PC Kino software were not in fact malicious, and to be unblocked from operating. That did literally nothing for the experience. I still have not found out how to use this application for VR, and I have found the mouse modes on this to be atrocious. Even the on-screen controls leave a fair amount to be desired. I have seen that there is a KinoVR application, and so I think I will try that, but I will do so with a healthy amount of skepticism. If I can figure this application out and get it really working, then I will change my rating to 5 stars, edit my review at the top to include some solutions that I (hopefully) will discover, and will purchase the Pro version.
  • Needs major fixes

    By Bluefrogs737381837 (Pcmac user)

I read a lot of review and I didn't see one the had the same problem that I did. At first, My problem was that whenever I waited for it to find my pc, it didn't show up, so then I kept surfing the web, and found out that I needed to login with google to make it work. I went to settings on my I-device, and when I clicked the slider button that said google login, it closed out the app, and a I kept trying over and over, but I never got a different result. I tried it on a different device, and I still had the same problem. I tried not using a email on the pic, and the problem remained. I expected much of this app, and I think it would be good if only it would work for me. Anyone have a solution to my problem, plz reply.
  • Does (Mostly) Everything

By The Guy who loves KFC (Pcmac user)

For a PC to iOS streamer, this checks off most boxes. It streams at a decent quality and has few drops, although stuttering (especially audio) can be annoying. Also, an important feature I noticed was missing was the ability to hold down a mouse click, and some static-key-bound programs required Enter to be used, but the Return button on the iOS keyboard would not suffice. Other than these two gripes, I see no reason not to use this app.
