Using Action Cam App on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Action Cam App"
The search will reveal the Action Cam App app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Action Cam App is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Action Cam App.
Now enjoy Action Cam App on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Action Cam App,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Action Cam App" » then Click "Install".
- Action Cam App will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

✔ Pros:

- The app works fine for connecting the Sony camera to a phone.

- It allows for remote control of the camera.

- It can group photos into a time-lapse video.

☹ Cons:

- The app is not as advanced as GoPro's app.

- The GPS information cannot be viewed on the app.

- The app cannot load individual photos taken in quick succession.

- There are issues with importing videos and pictures from the camera to the phone.

Get the Imaging Edge Mobile app!!! Got a new sony camera and spent 2 hrs figuring out how to use it with my phone trying this app and searching online... nothing worked until I find the imaging edge mobile app idk why they dont update this info on the manuals that come with the camera or on the sony website but use that app it works.

It works fine, but I think that the software is still behind GoPro's app. I chose the the app cam because of the GPS information I can get, but unfortunately I cant use the app to view it. I have to use my laptop, which usually isn't with me when I'm using the camera. It would also be nice if I could use my Apple Watch as a remote instead having to use the massive and clunky Live View remote.
It’s not a time lapse

If I take more than one photo in a row, to make sure I get a good one, the app calls it a time lapse cluster and attempts to group them into a time lapse video. The problem with this is, I don’t want it to be a stupid time lapse! I’d like my individual photos, and it won’t even load them into the app because there aren’t enough photos to be a time lapse..... ummmm yeah I know, because it’s not a time lapse!

When I connect the video camera with my iphone and I want to import some videos and pictures it’s just keep showing the loading sign without showing anything. I just waited for 10 minuets without any results, so please fix it as soon as possible.
