Software Features and Description

1. There is no magic: every speaker, microphone, cellphone, spy bug, hidden camera has in itself a magnetic field: iPhones are equipped with a magnetometer (used by the compass), dontspy can read the data captured by the magnetometer and it report the presence of the magnetic field emitted by spy bugs, cellphones, microphones, metal object, other devices that emit magnetic field, and report it.

2. Note that the app can't distinguish metal object from smartphone, spy bugs from other electronic device, so you will read "found" also in case of the presence of a metal object, so you have to perform the search away from metal objects to have a good result.

3. Now reading data is very simple, following the instructions of the gauge, the bars showing the signal intensity and the line showing the variation of the magnetic field during the search.

4. This app read the magnetic field and show it in a simple to use interface.

5. Consider that the magnetometer on iPhones is on the upper right, and on iPads in the back top centre.

6. The reading as to be made close to the object you are searching for.

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Using DontSpy on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "DontSpy"
The search will reveal the DontSpy: Camera Detector app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once DontSpy is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including DontSpy.
Now enjoy DontSpy on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use DontSpy,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "DontSpy" » then Click "Install".
- DontSpy: Camera Detector will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

What a waste. I put a $10 pinky ring right around the phone (all around a 7+ iPhone including the spot indicated on the screen) and got a gold reading. The screw/drill sensor produced 3 different results on 3 different passes of the same section of wall. And finally, the "spy detector"-OMG-what can I say? How about it found something right away! My TV sound bar. My alarm clock. My ironing board(that was a surprise!). However, placed directly near, practically on top of, a wi if camera, nothing. So, my advice-save your money until this app can at least be refined enough to actually do SOMETHING it says it will do. Unless you're having a tough time locating any speakers in your dwelling. BTW-my 7+ is completely up to date so no excuses about not running the latest updates.

Dude this thing actually worked and to be honest I thought it was BS myself and I only got because it came with the bundle pack. But I tried it out and I don’t know how but the thing detected gold every time.. now it thinks my knee is made out of metal for some reason lol. But no it actually works... at least for me it did. So if it doesn’t work for someone like the guy that gave this a bad review i suggest you either follow directions or get a modern up to date cell phone... just my opinion.

I paid for this app and realized that it is not working right at all ! I contacted Ivan through Facebook and within an hour he had sent me a refund through PayPal 🙂 Overall I wish I wouldn’t have been so foolish as to pay for it , but getting a refund wasn’t hard at all once I messaged him

I used this app to see if my work was bugged. A few different places set it off. I also had a question regarding our phone system so I emailed the app owner and got a quick response. Seems pretty legit! Either way my work has a lot of stuff going on that’s a little too coincidental for it to not be bugged
