★ ★ ★ Atomas Overview

What is Atomas? Atomas is a puzzle game where the player starts with hydrogen atoms and combines them with energy-rich plus atoms to create valuable elements like gold, platinum, and silver. The goal is to create as many valuable elements as possible without overfilling the universe with too many atoms. The game offers different modes, lucky charms, and challenges to keep the player engaged.

Game Features and Description

1. Your little universe starts with hydrogen atoms only but with the help of the energy rich plus atoms you are able to fusion two hydrogen atoms into one helium atom, 2 helium atoms into one lithium atom and so on.

2. From time to time minus atoms appear, use them for absorbing and replacing atoms within your universe or sacrifice them for a plus atom.

3. But watch out, if your universe is overfilled with too many atoms it will cause a big crunch and the game is over.

4. You see Atomas is not hard to play, but if you want to get to the top you'll need a good strategy, which keeps your atoms organized.

5. By creating new elements like oxygen or copper you unlock lucky charms, which effect the game in various ways and adjust it to your strategy.

6. One way to prevent this is to build up long symmetries in your atoms and start big chain reactions.

7. Atomas is a fascinating puzzle game, which you can learn in seconds but will entertain you for weeks.

8. Your primary goal is to create the valuable elements like Gold, Platinum and Silver.

9. The developers high score is 66 534.

  • Very fun, but winning is based on luck

    By Moorgan Hart (Pcmac user)

I’ve been playing this game for years, I’ve gotten nearly double the “devs highscore,” and while it’s a very entertaining game fun to play in those short moments when I’m on a bus or waiting in line, I’m convinced it isn’t beatable by skill alone. There is a not insignificant factor of luck, and as you get closer to the end game it’s programmed to make your luck worse by giving you numbers that are further and further apart from one another and reducing the chance of + and - it seems making it unbeatable. In the last game I lost I had 1 piece left on the board then got enough numbered pieces (without any + or -) in a row to lose the game, that’s what really set me on the path of changing my review to this one. Being luck based it’s theoretically possible to win by getting lucky but I don’t like that. For a game like this I usually rate 1/5, 3/5 is the highest rating I’ll give for an unbeatable or win by luck game.
  • An Intriguing Brain Teaser

    By Billy111464257 (Pcmac user)

There is a satisfaction that comes from playing this game that I haven't found in other ones. It keeps you actually thinking about what you're doing, and it's not so complicated that you can get bored from it easily. A fantastic time killer. On a side note: I thought it was cool how since it was based off of the actual atoms, it's helped me when I'm trying to memorize the periodic table.
  • Bugs!!!

    By IWillBeAPro (Pcmac user)

For the Geneva mode, if you use the green thing twice in a row on an atom, it stays plus until you fuse two atoms using it. Please fix the Geneva mode. If you use the undo button, it undos the move. But if you use it again, nothing happens. Another bug, you can get to like protactinium or higher on tutorial (just click outside the check mark when step done) and for step 6 you can absorb the atom then spam in the middle of the center and the outside, then the check mark will not appear.
  • Things that I like and the one that’s weird

    By MarioGaming1 (Pcmac user)

The things I like about the game are 1: It’s a free chemistry game that acts like a particle reactor which makes you try to push the limit and discover things. 2: Great graphics, sound, and it’s colorful. The one weird thing is that you can glitch the undo button and it will give you an extra atom at random. The atom is a duplicate of one of the atoms that is already on the board. When this happens to me, it gives me a duplicate of my biggest atom and I keep playing. Sometimes it is good but can be bad. All in all, for me, 5/5! P.S. Thank you for creating this wonderful application for the world.
