What is Guardzilla?

Guardzilla is a customizable, affordable, and easy-to-use home security system that allows users to monitor their homes 24x7 from their smartphones through live video streaming. Guardzilla also offers several video cloud storage subscription options to provide users the ability to retain their recorded video events.

Software Features and Description

1. Home security is a large and growing concern for most people, but the high price (and monthly fees), complexity and burdensome installation of typical home security systems prevents many from protecting their homes and loved ones – until now.

2. Guardzilla can even inform you on your phone (via email, text and/or push notification) when motion is detected and even ward off intruders if you set the ear-splitting 100dB siren.

3. Introducing Guardzilla, an affordable, easy-to-use, customizable security system for less than $100 and no monthly fees.

4. The subscription will automatically renew unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. With Guardzilla, monitor your home 24x7 wherever you are from your smartphone through live video streaming.

6. It’s peace of mind – at a small price tag.

7. You can even listen into the room and broadcast your voice.

8. The user’s account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours prior to the end of the current period, and identify the cost of the renewal .

9. Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.

  • Monthly Fee?!

    By Woanka84 (Pcmac user)

When I first seen the manufacturer product several year ago the great attraction wa that it was free off sight monitoring because it was self monitored not monitored by an agency that would call the police for you. This sound to me like an internal flaw in software design and so that my private home isn’t tapped into by cyber/physical criminals and what’s worse when I’m signing up for it believing it to be free ( ON THE BOX) until the last step then the really dangerous criminals have already put their digital signature on it and can turn it on as long as it has power without my knowledge and so I have to put it back in the box to be safe and can’t even use it as a deterrent. I’m am disappointed, dissatisfied, and distracted by the fact that I just spent money on an electronic item and paired it to a network. Can I even return it for full value without waiting several weeks and paying a S&H fee, Full Refund. Not in my future. Ahh I mean your as bad as cell phone company if your gonna charge rates like that then the WiFi should come from the camera and I can pay you for the internet to run the camera not pay for internet pay for the phone then pay for off site SELF monitoring. I gifted one of these to a single mom of there and she couldn’t use it because of the internet issue God I’m glad she didn’t know I got her a gift with a monthly fee. A real jerk does that, THANKS!
  • FAKKEEEEE

    By Swathe kroon (Pcmac user)

Don’t buy it. Don’t buy into it. Don’t believe the hype. I’m telling you first hand that I paid $100 for this “self monitoring” camera. “Motion detection” yeah ok. First off...if you put this “indoor outdoor” camera outside your house, it won’t even be detected by your WiFi that only 5 feet away (literally), THEN, there’s nothing stopping someone walking by to just snatch the damned thing off its mount considering it only held on by magnet. THEN, if you can manage to get by the EXCRUCIATING 3 steps and get you stupid camera to even connect to your network, (I have x1 high speed brand new xfinity WiFi with router extender for long distances) the last step is telling you that it’s free to download the app, free to set up, free to install. Just not free to use. “No monthly fee” means it won’t work as anything more than a decoy that can be snatched from the wall. VERY DISSATISFIED VERY DISAPPOINTED, angry that it makes you jump through hoops just to tell you that you have to send money to a 3rd party company for their “self monitoring system” NOT FREE. DOESNT WORK. Please OH PLEASE DONT WASTE YOUR TIME. And gaurdzilla....if your reading this.....I WILL BE LETTING EVERYONE KNOW NOT TO USE YOUR PRODUCT. It’s a fluke, a gimmick. People like you are what’s wrong with the world and I want my damned $100 back. You piece of trash. Have a nice day 😀
  • Terrible system all around

    By MrsLaboratory (Pcmac user)

I will say the only positive about this system is it has a camera, you can hear broken audio and you can have broken audio come through the speaker. I’ll add that none of these “positives” work very often. I’ve had the system for over a year. I had to call customer service to set it up initially. It wasn’t easy. They have updated the app since. It’s not much more user friendly because despite following the prompts exactly (I’m a Medical laboratory scientist which is a highly trained science professional so I’m perfectly capable of working this equipment) it rarely sets up the camera effectively. Either it won’t connect to the camera, it glitches and closes the app, or it will switch from the this app WiFi connection before it is finished setting up because it disappears from the WiFi list. It is malfunctioning and not working more than it is. When I finally get it set up, eventually the camera indicator light will go solid blue light as if someone is accessing it and the apps video feed will go black. When I purchase a new video security system, it won’t be this app. Hope they get it together for the sake of future and current customers.
  • Worst app ever

    By Clacko39 (Pcmac user)

This is the worst app ever. I have to keep signing in to the app every night when I get home and I’ve found no way to keep you signed in. That’s not the worst either. When you arm the siren at night it disarms itself shortly after arming. It also automatically resets the volume of the siren to the lowest setting and it automatically resets the duration of the siren to the shortest duration. I guess that doesn’t matter since it disarms itself shortly after setting. This has been going on for 6+ months and all this app support says is to delete and reinstall the app. Disconnect the camera and reconnect or turn off the camera and turn it back on. Same response every time. When you do reply to their email they never reply back. Every time I had to contact them I had to start a new ticket for the same problem. There is no customer support phone number and no live chat. Customer support basically doesn’t exist. The camera and app worked really well in the beginning and I’ve had it a couple years now but they changed the app and now the camera is practically worthless. I’d give it zero stars if I could.
