What is Thessa? Thessa is a widget that allows you to control your Nest Learning Thermostat™ from Notification Center in Mac OS X Yosemite. It also receives messages from your Nest Protect™, so you will instantly know when smoke or carbon monoxide has been detected. Install Thessa app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Thessa on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Thessa"
The search will reveal the Thessa app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Thessa is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Thessa.
Now enjoy Thessa on PC.

✔ Pros:

- Easy to switch between thermostats in the widget

- Super easy to set up

☹ Cons:

- Not updated for El Capitan or Sierra, causing blind actions

- App design is outdated and hard to see information on MacOS Sierra

- Does not support Login with Google, which may render the app useless in the future

Just installed… but so far it works great

Was concerned at first after reading comments on version 1.0… but I took a chance and it works well. It now supports multiple thermostats. Easy to switch between them in the widget. Super easy to setup. Will check back later after I hook up my Nest Protect to comment on its functionality with this app.
Not usable in MacOS Sierra

Not recommended. The application advertises itself for Yosemite. It does not appear to have been updated for El Capitan or Sierra. While the application launch, and clicking various buttons will change the settings on your NEST thermostat, such actions are blind, as this app no longer displays any values (i.e., the actual temperture selected). Needs an update, or needs to be removed from the store.
Please Update UI for Macos Sierra! Will update to 5 Stars then.

Love this little app, it works perfectly however Macos Sierra changed the UI of the sidebard from dark to light and the app design is really ugly and hard to see the information because the app was never updated to the new standards. Please fix this and I will update my review wtih 5 stars. Thanks to the dev
Doesn't Work With Google Accounts

Google started moving all the authentication from Nest accounts to Login with Google, which this app soes not support. Needs to be updated, or in a couple months (or for anyone who already made the switch: now) will be completely useless. Requesting a refund from Apple now.
