Install Winmail-View app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Winmail-View"
The search will reveal the Winmail-View app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Winmail-View is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Winmail-View.
Now enjoy Winmail-View on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Winmail-View,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Winmail-View" » then Click "Install".
- Winmail-View will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

The interface might not be as flashy as some of the other winmail.dat apps, but this one is less expensive and allows you to open the attachments, unlike the other free or "lite" version of similar apps I had tried. It is definitely worth the $0.99!
