Install AVSub app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using AVSub on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "AVSub"
The search will reveal the AVSub app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once AVSub is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including AVSub.
Now enjoy AVSub on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use AVSub,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "AVSub" » then Click "Install".
- AVSub will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Best Subsonic (& derivative) Choice

I’ve had the app since 2014. I’ve tried every other Subsonic client and this is still by far the best. I’m on the app daily to facilitate my listening of an 80k+ collection. I’ve made every in-app purchase, both in developer support, as well as to make use of the features the app strives to provide which are well beyond what the Subsonic platform can do. You’ll find the core rock-solid, and any issues in the add-ons rapidly resolved due to a very response and active developer. Your best app for the Subsonic family.
Great sound

Best sound quality of any subsonic client - plays audio at its native rate. UI isn’t ideal but not bad!
Lacking playlist support and Apple Watch sync buggy

1. No intuitive way to edit playlist. You can add songs only to “active” playlist which means no way to build multiple playlists at the same time. 2. No way to play playlist in offline mode. Tapping playlists button starts server connection, tapping cache does not list playlists. How do I play my playlist when offline? 3. Syncing 55 songs playlist to Apple Watch took me couple hours. The process seems to be breaking and getting stuck on transcoding or watch sync status. It goes well for couple of songs then I have to restart it.
Updated review: disappointing

Update: it’s been disappointing as of late. It was crashing consistently during searches. So I uninstalled and reinstalled. Now it crashes upon launching. I receive a complex error message. I have forwarded it to the developer. I am hoping he comes through as he has in the past. Unfortunately, until then, I can not recommend anymore. Flawless. Easy setup. Sound is on par. The best part is when you ask a question, the developer gets back to you quickly. That's rare. Highly recommended.
