  • The best annoate on Mac you could get

    By hello ro (Pcmac user)

I will say it is the best annoate app you can get on Mac OS. It has all the functions I need and it works well! I tired to work on my phone because I puirchased the “annotation” app on my iPhone but the screen is too samll on the phone. I moved to laptop but did not find any good apps until I found this one. The icon of this app is not attractive but the funciton of this app is perfact. Love it! However the resolution of output image is not as good as its functions.
  • No Brainer: Pay the $4 And Take Back Those Daily Wasted Minutes Fighting With Screenshot Edits

I’ve been looking for something simple like this app for a long, long time. It does everything I want. You can save or share your annotated pic or screenshot. You can also simply copy it to the clipboard and paste it right into your email or MS Word / Pages app, etc. The only complaint I have had was simply due to my not understanding a super clever method of handling text size. At first, when I created a text box, I was annoyed that the text was so HUGE in comparison to the pic I was typing on. I still put up with that because every single other aspect was terrific. Then, just the other day, I realized you can get total control over the text size by grabbing the text box resize handles and reducing the area the text box occupies. Super simple, super easy, I just didn’t realize you could do that. Five BIG stars for this app. It really works. It saves me several minutes every day. Easiest $4 decision I’ve made in long time.
  • Used to be amazing. Now I don’t use it at all

    By erikahlehmann (Pcmac user)

This app used to be my go-to for screenshots and notes. And I use those A LOT, because I work with designers and developers, and it is a great way to give feedback. However, since around a month ago, the Dropbox integration stopped working. I don’t want to download every single screenshot I take and have to go hunt for it in my folders. I want to use my dropbox links, as they are a faster and cleaner way to deal with leaving feedback for others. This needs to be fixed asap, or the developers will lose a ton of their fan base, including me. I hope they are reading all of the other similar reviews left here by others and do something about it. If not, I’ll be moving to monosnap.
  • Used to Be Great but Terrible Now

    By rap2000us (Pcmac user)

Built by Drift and sold to Linebreak who owns CloudApp. I used to use it almost daily, even in my sleep somtimes and it worked great and I could capture a screenshot and it would upload it to Dropbox and share a shortlink and it worked perfectly. Today I found that when I tried to upload to Dropbox or CloudApp it tells me that there is a problem at the other end CloudApp owns the other end! This is abandoned software and Apple shouid withdraw it from the store. If all you want to do is capture and save a screen portion it will do that but if you want to be able to share via a shortlink on a chat it no longer works. Do not waste your time.
