7. Please note that some devices need to install the ‘Smart Remote Embedded’ service from the camera's built-in app store to enable WiFi connectivity.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "GoCamera"
The search will reveal the GoCamera – PlayMemories Mobile app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once GoCamera is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including GoCamera.
Now enjoy GoCamera on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use GoCamera,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "GoCamera" » then Click "Install".
- GoCamera – PlayMemories Mobile will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I thought because of the 3.2 or whatever the average rating is now that this app might work, and if not I could just get a refund, both FALSE! The app does not let me change ANY setting once connected(it tricks you and connects like its gonna work) at least the free wireless camera control apps let me control one perimeter, I think it’s the aperture, this one doesn’t even do that. And when I tried to get a refund I was told to wait for the apple receipt to be emailed to me, I tried getting a refund 5 mins after the email came in and I got an automated message from apple saying “This purchase is not eligible for a refund” not verbatim but close. Horrible horrible experience, I don’t know how these paid apps are allowed to continue being sold on the App Store with such blatant lies.

I bought this app a couple of weeks ago and had some connection issues, but the latest update solved all of my problems. The app loads faster and there are no app crashes anymore. The only feature I am still missing is transferring old images from my camera SD card to my iPhone.

This app doesn't even work. I took one picture thru the app and it froze and I couldn't even see us trying to take pictures. To make it worse, I've only had a chance to try use it today but purchased it about 2 weeks ago but it wouldn't connect then. Now I can't even get a refund on it.
Crashes constantly

Apparently the camera is already obsolete, Sony just doesn’t feel like maintaining the app. Not so bad for a normal camera, pretty crooked to sell a 400 dollar camera that’s literally useless after 4 years. My mistake, should’ve stuck with real camera companies.
