Download and install the BoltBus app on your Windows 10,8,7 or Mac in 4 simple steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks Pc or Mac software Here >> .
- Install the emulator on your PC or Mac:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using BoltBus on PC [Windows 7/ 8/8.1/ 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "BoltBus"
- The search will reveal the BoltBus app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once BoltBus is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including BoltBus.
- Now enjoy BoltBus on PC.
- Using BoltBus on Mac OS:

To get BoltBus on Windows 11, check if there's a native BoltBus Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- Download the Amazon-Appstore » (U.S only)
- Click on "Get" to begin installation. It also automatically installs Windows Subsystem for Android.
- After installation, Goto Windows Start Menu or Apps list » Open the Amazon Appstore » Login (with Amazon account)
- For non-U.S users, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto Playstore on PC » click Configure_Download. This will auto-download Google Play Store on your Windows 11.
- Installing BoltBus:
- Login to your computer's PlayStore or Amazon AppStore.
- Search for "BoltBus" » Click "Install" to install BoltBus
- BoltBus will now be available on your windows start-menu.

Over and over over again I tried from my phone to my tablet to my laptop until I just called and explained that I have been with you guys from before my soon to 13 yr old grand baby was born! Back when we had to line up in 33 st across from #NYC Madison SQUARE GARDEN 😱 LOOK , why couldn’t I even get the Reset your Password Button to work so I can get my letter A-tickets? This had been happening to me for a few weeks because I normally go back and forth weekly visiting and babysitting my now 2 “G”Babies! I wasn’t rude on the phone or anything I am more like a female Madea, 🤪🤣🤣🤣🥰
Anyways the young gave me a temporary reset person and I did as she instructed me! And now “G” Ma is back‼️ and on board! #THANKSBOLTBUS 👍🏾💯😅😂😜

DOWNGRADE - New app is terrible

The old app wasn’t the prettiest app out there, but at least it was useful. This app is a mess. There are screens that don’t even fit. Like it trying to load a web page in a window that’s too small. This is not a REAL app. It’s just a bad website trying to disguise itself as an app. If you go to website on a phone it looks exactly the same.
You used to be able to do things on the app in a smart way like logging in easily. Not anymore. This new app is so frustrating to use. And you used to be able to access My Trips easily and that’s gone. WHY would you take away useful functionality and make it harder for people to use. This name NO sense and this “upgrade”, which is honestly just a downgrade, is very disappointing. Now I have to delete the app because it’s useless and takes forever to do anything.
This was simply a bad move. I suggest going back to the old app until you can find someone who knows how to make an app to make a good one for you.

Great app. Been using it for years back and for to DC and NY for work. I would love to have the Apple wallet pass feature be fixed as it does not work at the moment. And update for the app would also be nice. Other than that. Love the app and very convenient. Bus is comfortable and love riding this app.

New app is awful.

This review is for the app, not the service.
I have been riding bultbus for going on five years now and I haven't had an issue with anything until this dreadful new update to the bultbus app (the mobile website is not any better). Not only did I grow a beard in the amount of time it took for new pages to load, but I also had to close the app server times when it decided to take a break not loading anything but a blank white screen. Finally, after what seems like a technological battle I type in my CC info and press submit. I think all is going to go well, this we a silly thought, when it fails to load the confirmation screen!
It accepted my payment, sending me an email to let me know; however, when I opened the email to download the tickets it would not scroll past the first ticket.
