Using Genesis Intelligent Assistant on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Genesis Intelligent Assistant"

Good, needs improvement

I love being able to start my car from inside a building and have it cooled off when I get to it. Usually it works. Sometimes it doesn’t - like when I’ve forgotten to lock my car, but sometimes I don’t know why it didn’t. My biggest complaint is that when you start it remotely, the blinkers blink until you get there. I’ve contacted them about this. They say it’s so you and others know your car is running. I say it’s a safety hazard - if I’m at the mall at night by myself, I shouldn’t have to advertise that I’m coming to my car. I can’t start my car in the early morning when I’m heading out, because I don’t want these very bright blinkers disturbing the neighbors who are still in bed. Also, I have people telling me about it all the time - “Your car’s blinking.” When I renewed the service over the phone, I mentioned this to the CSR. She says people tell her this all the time, but those who make decisions about this won’t budge. They could certainly make it an option that you can deselect, as they have with the defrost option. As for the car’s status it shows, it’s often inaccurate. It will indicate that my car is running when it’s not, etc.
Genesis 80 remote start disappointing

First I understand that the app is trying to attach the luxury vehicle moniker to this vehicle. However to accomplish this, one of the things that needs a lot of work , is this app. I am very tech savvy so this review is not user error. The app is very slow. I find that when it works there is a 45 sec to 1 min lag time. There is a more than occasional failure rate in starting the car for a variety of reasons , from server busy to other reasons not specified. In addition it only activates the defrost or blower, and not the seats or steering wheel. I have a Mercedes Lexus and Jeep. They all activate multiple functions in the car, and the Jeep particularly will activate different function based on the external temperature. This app needs to be refined , with faster reaction time if people are going to view this vehicle as special. The technology is no longer just available on high end cars, and many lower level vehicles operate much more efficiently.
Terrible app and service

The idea behind this is great but unfortunately the execution is terrible. When it works, it works slow. It takes several minutes from the time you issue a command through the app before it registers to the vehicle. Even then it seems to fail 15-20% of the time. What’s more frustrating is that is costs $300 a year for all of the services. For that price I would expect them to work reliably and quickly. After several failed unlocks today I tried to call support and the hold time was over 35 minutes. I keep hoping they will improve things but after years they have barely updated the app. It still doesn’t even have support for the iPhone X display well over a year after it was released. Note that the screen shots show it on an X but they don’t show that there’s huge bars on the top and bottom. the app needs to take this one back to the drawing board.
I appreciate the effort but this falls very short

Please divert more effort into improving this app. I appreciate the effort and functionality that this app offers but it falls flat. I would maybe understand if this app were brand new, but it’s not. Most other automakers’ apps are significantly better. First of all, this app still does not support the iPhone X/XS/11 form factor, which is over 2 years old and makes up a large majority of iPhones on the market. This is the only app I use that is the wrong form factor. Second, the app is slow and glitchy with bad animations which make it feel cheap and is frustrating to use. I get many errors and pop ups due to slow response and glitches. Overall, I expect much more from a luxury car brand. I can’t imagine anyone paying for the mobile services after the trial period with a mobile experience like this.
