This app is designed to fill in the flaws of itunes and make djing low maitanance and difficult to screw up. As a social dance dj i like to use this app alongside iTunes to make everything as easy as drag and drop. It has : -A simple dual viewer system to allow you to see the current track and your cued playlist -Has a high quality complex equaliser that puts itunes’s to shame -a bunch of fetures that prevent the current track from stopping unless you deliberatly try —(who hasnt accedentaly switched tracks or paused and left a whole lot of awkwardness when djing) -allows you to hog the current output allowing you to listen to tracks in another viewer before adding. -autofills silence between tracks to a specified length. -a lot of little fetures that subtly make things simple and easy to dj out of another player. I got this to dj for social dancing, ballroom, blues, and i run my own swing venue. Has worked like a charm and i started using it to listen to casual music as the itunes dj system seems to be impossible to use effectively. Built by a dance DJ for Dance DJs, it will finally give you access to multiple sound cards. You can preview songs in Itunes and then drag them over into this app to play next or anywhere else in your list. It will “Hog” the sound output of your chosen device so that no other blips, boings, dongs, or beeps happen. There are even features for customizing sounds output, like stereo/mono modes, graphic eq, and others. It is simply awesome.

This application is hands down the best tool I’ve ever had for playing music at a club. Every feature is aimed at making my life easier and preventing me from doing stupid things like accidentally stopping the music or trying to adjust the volume and blatting at everyone in the room. - No more beeps and boops, this app masks them out when its turned to “hog mode” - I can’t accidentally pause or skip songs (yay!) - Fading and readying the next song automatically is *awesome* - The autogap feature which ensures a set amount of silence between songs is surprisingly nice. Note:This is for social dance DJs (swing, ballroom, tango, blues, etc.) who want a break between songs, not club DJs who want to crossfade everything together.
