Software Features and Description

2. Click on your card at the bottom of the screen to check the credit and passes or swipe between your cards.

3. With this app, you can easily and safely check your travel history and the credit on your OV-chipkaart wherever you are.

4. If you travel by train or metro, you will see transactions and your current credit within around 30 minutes.

5. In this, the only official OV-chipkaart app, you will also be able to quickly find service points near you.

6. Buses and trams must first return to their depot.

7. • We use your location to show nearby service points.

8. The app does not use or has access to your pictures or other media.

9. The app works for personal and anonymous cards.

10. • We use permissions for Photos/media/files to save username and password (encrypted).

11. If you are travelling by bus or tram, it may take longer.

Install OV-chipkaart app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using OV-chipkaart on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "OV-chipkaart"
The search will reveal the OV-chipkaart app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once OV-chipkaart is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including OV-chipkaart.
Now enjoy OV-chipkaart on PC.
