Install Scriptnotes app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Scriptnotes on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Scriptnotes"
The search will reveal the Scriptnotes app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Scriptnotes is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Scriptnotes.
Now enjoy Scriptnotes on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Scriptnotes Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Scriptnotes,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Scriptnotes" » then Click "Install".
- Scriptnotes will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Extremely interesting, whether you are a writer or not

I have been listening to John and Craig for about two years, and I have learned so much about how the industry really works, and tips on writing, as well as things like the dos and don'ts of formatting. I've also really enjoyed hearing from the different special guests. I have now enjoyed the movie Man Up, and the TV series Crazy Ex Girlfriend, I never would have known about them otherwise (or at least not until everyone around me starts talking about it). For someone who really values her time and has a difficult deciding what to spend my time on, hopefully that tells you how much I like the podcast, because it is something I like spend time listening to.

I've been listening to Craig and John for around a year now and can honestly say that I am a much better screenwriter for it. They've taught me so much about how Hollywood thinks, works, and creates scripts. Their insight into the business is invaluable for all aspiring screenwriters. Not only is the content highly engaging, their witty humor and personable attitudes make for the best podcast I've ever listened to. I feel like I'm in the room with them, and as if we're all great friends. Thank you Script Notes for the pleasure and growth. I'll be sure to give you guys a shout out when I one day walk across a stage for an award-winning screenplay.

If you've ever wanted to get advice and insight from WORKING Hollywood screenwriters, this free (or paid) podcast is gold. They always discuss relevant and helpful topics, answer listener questions and even give feedback on some samples of listener scripts. Their perspectives are their own, and don't necessarily represent everyone who has ever sold a screenplay, but their opinions make sense and are based on professional experience. If nothing else, listening to these guys will give you a more realistic view of what it looks like to work and live as a screenwriter.
Essential for aspiring screenwriters

I consider John and Craig to be my writing professors. I’ve listened to hundreds of these episodes. They talk about craft, but also the actual business side to working in the industry. I sincerely hope I get to thank them profusely in person one day. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve felt stuck and frustrated in writing, and one of their episodes will pick me up and help me to keep on going. Thank you so much for everything you guys do!
