Install Uniden® AppCam™ app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Uniden on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Uniden"
The search will reveal the Uniden® AppCam™ app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Uniden is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Uniden.
Now enjoy Uniden on PC.

Always works

I see a lot of people are having problems with the app. It always works for me, but I give it 3 stars because picture quality really isnt very good. Occasionally if the cameras won't display, I unplug them then plug back in and everything works as it should. Note: these work fine down to -10 Fahrenheit. Colder than that and they will freeze, they start working again when the temp goes back up to around 0 Fahrenheit. So far 2 winters in Wyoming and they still work outside.

The previous app we used with our cams was great. Then that app stopped working and was told we had to get this one. Now even though the screen at home shows all 4 cameras all the time we can only see camera 1 about 80% of the time and the other three about 5% of the time. Camera 2 is the closest camera to the base and yet we can rarely see it online (it shows find on the base screen and only has a window between the camera and the base plus 18 feet. I spent a lot fir the system and I expect it to work as intended. By the way SmartHome has very good and reliable online cams. Just saying.

Upgraded to this app as was using the this app Guardian 2 app until my phone upgraded to the IOS11. Found this was the replacement. Works just like it did with the old app I was using. Unlike other users I have had no trouble switching between cameras. My cameras are the UDS655 system with a UDSC15 that is a replacement so I am glad I found this app and it works with my cameras.

This is the worst app on the market!! The cameras are fine, but unless you are at home looking at the LED screen, forget it!! The app DOES NOT WORK 80% of the time. I have called U idea a dozen times about it and they also have the worst Customer Service in America!!! The cameras are useless without the app. I updated my iPad and now this app won’t even open because the developer needs to update the app to iOS 11 and that’s not likely to happen since they are already 4 updates behind the times!! Do yourself a favor and avoid this app products!!!!
