What is iRig BlueBoard? The iRig BlueBoard app is designed to work with the iRig BlueBoard, the first wireless MIDI pedalboard for iOS and Mac. The app allows users to control the setup and configuration of the hardware unit and communicate with any Core MIDI-compatible app running on their iOS device. The iRig BlueBoard pedalboard features 4 backlit footswitches and 2 expression pedal inputs that allow users to control parameters in any Core MIDI-compatible app from up to 10 meters away.

Software Features and Description

1. Setup the MIDI parameters you want to control, switch between the PROGRAM CHANGE and CONTROL CHANGE operating modes, set the MIDI channel iRig BlueBoard will transmit on, browse and rename banks, browse patches in Core MIDI apps, and much more.

2. The iRig BlueBoard pedalboard features 4 backlit footswitches that let you change banks and presets, and control parameters in any Core MIDI-compatible app (like AmpliTube or SampleTank) from up to 10 meters away.

3. THE IRIG BLUEBOARD APP FOR IPHONE, IPAD, AND IPOD TOUCH, WORKS IN TANDEM WITH IK’S NEW IRIG BLUEBOARD, THE FIRST WIRELESS MIDI PEDALBOARD FOR IOS AND MAC, CONTROLLING THE SETUP AND CONFIGURATION OF THE HARDWARE UNIT.

4. Also, iRig BlueBoard app lets you setup the hardware unit, and configure its 32 banks of settings for iRig BlueBoard’s 4 footswitches.

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "iRig BlueBoard"
The search will reveal the iRig BlueBoard app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once iRig BlueBoard is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including iRig BlueBoard.

- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

- The company's products do not live up to their promises and nickel and dime customers for every piece of software.

Complicated and inconsistent

I was excited to use this to record and play loops from loopy - it is really difficult to program, it doesn't work for Garageband like they claim it does. I wasted money on the stomp box and more on amplitude and all that crap. Ik multimedia basically baits and switches you into products that don't live up to their promises. And they nickel and dime you for every tiny piece of software they can. It pisses me off everytime I dust this junk off and kid myself into thinking me and my son can have some simple backing tracks that we can toggle through. Disappoints EVERY time. Don't waste your time and money like I have.
Total Ripoff

I can't believe this company. This is the second product that I purchase, and it doesn't work. I've been using all kinds of musical and computer equipment for almost 20 years. This is garbage. It never connects. This device made for the iPad and iPhone and iMac NEEDS WINDOWS to update the driver, because clowns run this company. Now I have to deal with the second product I have to return from this godforsaken, gremlin-owned craptastic company. May they sink into the depths of hell.

This app along with the BlueBoard hardware provide some basic controls. However, there is no way to configure it so send momentary cc messages. This requires 2 presses; one to activate, one to clear. A SW/FW update will give this 5 stars.
