App does not work

I really wanted to use this app for the digital magazines but when I open the app I get a message that the app requires an active internet connection to open and then tells me how to turn on the internet and gives me a Re-load button. I get the message both on my iPhone and my iPad. I’m already connected to the internet with all other internet based apps working properly including my echo devices, my internet-based lights and plugs, my browser, etc. but this app will not connect and gives no option to find out what the problem is except to turn on the internet and re-load. I tried deleting the app & reinstalling, rebooting my devices, of course checking my internet connection even though its working for everything else but nothing seems to be wrong with anything but the app itself.

So, when you hit the "get" button, it puts an icon on the first available place on your iPhone as it begins to download...then the icon disappears. "What the...?" I thought to myself. Did a search and discovered it in the apple newsstand...you know...that pesky app you try to delete when you first got your iPhone...then ended up tucking it away in a remote folder on page 10? So I opened it, and was greeted with a message that basically says, "You just wasted your time and space by downloading this piece of @$&?@, because the only freebie you are getting is one issue if you buy a year's subscription". That's how I interpreted it, anyway. Free issues should be offered BEFORE the reader decides to buy subscriptions. They are supposed to give us a taste of what our hard earned money would be buying. And frankly, anyone who is afraid of offering free samples are doing so because they don't have confidence in their own product. Save your money and Google "the app projects", or more specifically, add projects you are interested in. Remodeling a kitchen? Google "kitchen remodel the app". You have a wealth of info at your fingertips.

As a decorator wannabe, I really enjoy all the projects in this magazine. The instructions are all straightforward, and I like that the writers tell you where they goofed up and how they fixed it - makes me feel better about my own efforts!
