Install Tape by Focusrite app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Tape by Focusrite"
The search will reveal the Tape by Focusrite app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Tape by Focusrite is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Tape by Focusrite.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Tape by Focusrite,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Tape by Focusrite" » then Click "Install".
- Tape by Focusrite will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Good for archiving analog sources

Not a DAW in any way. Not even a multitrack recorder so far as I can see. When coupled with an itrack dock/solo I can see using this app to turn my records/tapes into files. I love my itrack dock but I use it with Cubasis or garageband at the center. I must admit this app has some interesting mastering options I haven't gotten a chance to try out yet. Focusrite makes nice stuff. I've been a fan since digidesign loaded the first ever Mbox with focusrite mic pre's. If you're a musician with an iPad Air or mini 2/3 get an itrack dock! I insist! It's awesome!
not working like it used to

This is the best straight forward way to master and archive my music on ios but..... Not working on audio buss..whats up? I asked about thisa long time ago but still no answers ....Focusrite? Peace Christo

...if not for a critical flaw, that when you export your recording it compressed into 128kbps when the recording and playback is at a much higher-quality uncompressed format. Please add WAV/AIFF file export!!!!!!
