Circus, Vol. 2 is a well executed spatial orientation and puzzle app for preschoolers or early elementary kids. There are 3 modes of play, with each section's skill building on the other. After completing each puzzler, you get a fun and pleasing video. First there is a prepuzzle roller game where you match two halves of a picture. The second puzzle section is adaptable in number of pieces and piece orientation to complete your picture. Rotating the pieces requires use of your thumb and forefinger, and therefore is a good indicator of motor planning abilities. The third puzzler that I personally just love is the "roll" the ball in the hole game. You can also drag the ball to the hole, but I think tilting the iPad teaches laterality and visual-motor coordination. The graphics and music are engaging and original. Recommended.
  • If you have a hung kiddo, get this app!!!!

This app is wonderful for very young children, and older kids too, depending on which section section you are playing. There is a section of puzzles with multiple difficulty levels, which are very engaging because once each puzzle is put together, it becomes animated, In another section, young children are required to match up two different sliding pictures. When they are successful, the picture becomes animated in an amusing way. Plus, there is a game with different pictures, and the goal is to tilt the iPad in order to get the ball to roll into the holes in the picture. this is the most challenging game. It is very fun, and gray for fine motor, This app is engaging, with fun and no bright graphics, and is great for fine motor skills, visual spatial skills, matching, cause and effect, and more. The app has no ads, links, or IAPs. I recommend it for younger kids,
  • Fantastic app!

Although this app is called "this app" if you purchase this for your baby, this app will grow along with him/her. It comes with 3 games: puzzle, matching, and pinball. The puzzle can be set to varying difficulties from a simple 4 piece puzzle to a 9 piece puzzle where you have to rotate the pieces to make them fit. In the pinball game, the younger child guide the ball with his or her finger and the older child can guide the ball by tilting the device in the right direction. There is no clutter in this app, meaning your child will be focused with the task at hand. There are no written directions and it does not need it because it is simple to figure out. There are no ads or links of any kind. the app children enjoy this app and I highly recommend it!
  • Sweet app for thinking and problem solving skills!

this app Vol. 2 Circus is a really sweet app for preschoolers to begin learning basic problem solving, reasoning, sequencing, puzzle and patterning skills. It would be a very nice resource for fine motor skills. I like that the user can modify the difficulty level of the puzzles by selecting the number of pieces, and the way the puzzles are completed (rotation of pieces vs. non-rotation). The 2 levels of difficulty in the Pinball game also help to make this game suitable for older elementary children. This app will be great for beginning iPad skills, fine motor, and thinking and reasoning skills. Recommended.
