  • Makes customizable, 3-D maps too

    By Batzon (Pcmac user)

My favorite photo-mapping app. I use Map Camera a lot. It's fun as well as a great help when revisiting locations. (It was unfair of me to describe as a "flaw" a function that I wish it had. Which is to choose photos to import from the phone's Pictures library more easily.) More functionality could of course be added to Map Camera in order provide this app with even more incredible power than it already has. Such as the ability to create documents, and trip journals...surveys...if only I knew how to make my own app!

This app is awesome! I use it all the time! This app could use an update, some photos won't upload, kicks me out of the app!
  • Deserves Way More Love

    By aglaia_d (Pcmac user)

I have to admit I take too few opportunities to write reviews, but this app deserves way more love and attention. I believe some of the negative comments in earlier reviews were simply a result of failing to familiarize themselves with the app - e.g. I export full resolution images. That said, however, it has been some time since the UI was touched, enhancements, or stability addressed. This app does deserve attention. I use it constantly. Consequently, I do hope the developer continues to give it some love, too. Cheers!
  • Idea is nice, usability…not there yet

    By Raman Pfaff (Pcmac user)

The idea of this app is nice, and when you can get it to work it does a pretty good job. However, the usability is poor and trying to create the image with the map is actually a bit of a challenge. And that is even after I have done it a few time. Besides fixing the usability, there need to be additional options for what information you want put on the image. Right now you can enter your name, and all the other information shows up on the map without any customization allowed. Hopefully this one will improve a bit. The idea is certainly nice.
