If you want to install and use the Secret Photo Vault - Keepsafe app on your PC or Mac, you will need to download and install a Desktop App emulator for your computer. We have worked diligently to help you understand how to use Secret Photo Vault - Keepsafe for your computer in 4 simple steps below:

Step 1: Download an Android emulator for PC and Mac

Ok. First things first. If you want to use the application on your computer, first visit the Mac store or Windows AppStore and search for either the Bluestacks app or the Nox App . Most of the tutorials on the web recommends the Bluestacks app and I might be tempted to recommend it too, because you are more likely to easily find solutions online if you have trouble using the Bluestacks application on your computer. You can download the Bluestacks Pc or Mac software here

Step 2: Install the emulator on your PC or Mac

Now that you have downloaded the emulator of your choice, go to the Downloads folder on your computer to locate the emulator or Bluestacks application.
Once you have found it, click it to install the application or exe on your PC or Mac computer.
Now click Next to accept the license agreement.
Follow the on screen directives in order to install the application properly.
If you do the above correctly, the Emulator app will be successfully installed.

Step 3: Secret Photo Vault - Keepsafe for PC - Windows 7/8 / 8.1 / 10

Now, open the Emulator application you have installed and look for its search bar. Once you found it, type Secret Photo Vault - Keepsafe in the search bar and press Search. Click on Secret Photo Vault - Keepsafe application icon. A window of Secret Photo Vault - Keepsafe on the Play Store or the app store will open and it will display the Store in your emulator application. Now, press the Install button and like on an iPhone or Android device, your application will start downloading. Now we are all done.
You will see an icon called "All Apps".
Click on it and it will take you to a page containing all your installed applications.
You should see the Secret Photo Vault - Keepsafe icon. Click on it and start using the application.

  • Fantastic but... not

This app is great for storage! You have the option to choose a custom color scheme for the display theme and choose between grid or mosaic display for media files in your albums. The app is compatible with photos, gif files, and videos. And the options to save photos/videos to your phone, move a file to a different album inside the app, and select an image as the album cover(s) are all wonderful features. And the option is given to delete files from your phone’s photo library once imported to help clean things up. The downfall, though, happens when uploading a video. Videos take a century and half to import. Understandably, they are larger files (especially when considering length of time) but it should take eight hours or longer to load. Importing videos seem to freeze the app. While you can still navigate in it, you cannot import anything for hours and hours when importing a video (even if it is ~20 sec) because the... well, I actually know WHAT it is but it’s inconvenient. All I can say is that the app is great. Except for this one critical piece that it claims to support. A couple other things: 1) It would be nice to be able to crest an album within an album. 2) It’s a bummer that the timer lock screen is no longer available. And even when it was, there wasn’t a slick way to discreetly add the feature to use Touch ID when using that lock.
  • Nice app but not great

    By julianleighton
The app is great it lets you save a bunch of stuff, has a bunch of features like taking a picture of break in attempts, fake pin, fake albums, lets you personalize it as you wish, pretty sure it has a big storage. The only huge problem I have with it and that’s making me unsubscribe my premium subscription is that it takes extremely long to import big files like videos. And when I say extremely long i don’t mean an hour or 4. I mean days and weeks. I could try to import videos and they would never import. After weeks of trying. The app backs up automatically which is great but what’s the point of it if big files for some reason never get backed up. I’ve had this large videos in the app for months and they never finish being backed up. I’m not sure what the problem is but it’s really annoying. I purposely bought the premium subscription to be able to have a lot of storage and not have problems like this. But for sure it was a waste of money since it’s such a problem to import stuff and get them backed up. Other than that like I said the app has some great features just for sure don’t download it if you’re looking to save large videos
  • Excellent free app, high res storage

    By Todd's Mac
Of course there are ads but they are not bad. Actually I don’t know who the average subscriber age or interest but I do know game apps are not for me. Speaking toward a few of the ads. Actually If I were in advertising I’d go for background checks, tracking devices, adult oriented play items etc. I’ve hit my limit on storage & I always try to respect the efforts of free app ads. My only complaint is that I saved video & it’s only accessible as a pic now. I realize it’s possible that I could have possibly changed the format prior to saving BUT I’ll also say I did depend on the app to act as a stand-alone safeguard for my videos and the only thing I know for certain is that even if I transfer the videos I have definitely lost the ability to VIEW VIDEO, only the initial image. Second, this is NOT true for all stored videos, only a particular related set. Odd thing is, it still shows the individual playtime on each referenced video
  • Was great, not just crap..

    By mcbaer
This app use to be great; It did what it was intended to do.. keep certain files private. But then they went and added this “Shared” album crap. If I wanted to share the kind of files I’m using the app to hide, then I would just upload them to Google Photos or something. Also you can’t “copy” a file from one album into a “new” without it creating that album as a shared one... I DO NOT WANT to SHARE files so stop trying to force the crap feature onto paying users. And why cant I copy files to “non-shared” albums? I like to make a copy to a non-shared album so I can edit it, and keep the original where it is. And you can’t “delete” shared albums, also if you try to leave the album (being the owner) it locks the app up. They should have left this app along, and added the “share” option to another separate one, or make a option to turn off all share features. Again, the app was great now it’s just crap.

  • Terrible App

    By Prometheus6601
By far the most unstable app I’ve ever used. It freezes my iPhone every single time I use it. I’m slowly trying to remove my photos so I can stop using the app without losing them. I usually get about a minute of stable use before the app crashes and freezes my phone. Not to mention, the back up your photos o a cloud without our permission and there is no way to remove them. Combine all of that with the absurd subscription price for basic features (like restoring photos from its trash can) and you have a expensive, useless, buggy app that will freeze your phone, steal your photos and charge you a fortune to do so. Eat sh*t developer.
  • Broken app. Won’t work. No customer service.

    By Nopeone73
Photos won’t upload. App worked great when I first purchased it. I’ve re-paid for the app 3 times now and it was phenomenal. Until a few months ago. Now None of my photos upload, it won’t let me upload any videos, and I have had zero response from customer service in regards to fixing it. I don’t understand why I paid so much money for an app that does not work in customer service that refuses to help.

  • Who wouldn't like this app?

    By 1Supertop
I wouldn’t recommend it and I regret the purchase. The app crashes every time and freezes my phone. Is full of bugs. And the developer doesn’t seem to do anything about it. Oh well another disappointment! If I could i wouldn’t give even one star.

I started using KeepSafe over 18 months ago. It used to be an incredible app. I uploaded a bunch of photos from my phone and shared them with my wife. I could consistently add photos either taking them directly in the app, or importing them from my iPhone camera roll into the app. In December I tried adding a video for the first time. In spite of their claims, this doesn’t work consistently; you don’t know if it’s working; and it takes an excruciatingly long time even for very short videos, if it works at all. Sometime in the recent past they disabled the sharing Beta. To the best of my knowledge they did this with no warning. Also, if you’re on iOS, and have photos that we’re taken with another camera, you have no way to get them into KeepSafe without first putting them in Apple’s iCloud environment. Earlier in the year it began acting very unstable and crashed frequently. I had to disable TouchID because it would crash consistently when I tried it. Photos and videos stopped loading. I brought many of these issues up to KeepSafe support last spring. They had me try many things over the course of several months, but the functionality didn’t restore. After an update in June, for a few weeks it seemed like most of the functionality was working correctly. Unfortunately for me, I renewed my subscription in July thinking the issues were fixed. Since then it has been all downhill. At the time of writing, on iOS, importing photos and videos doesn’t work. Sometimes photos will show up eventually, but there’s no indication anything is happening. Sending photos from the camera roll into KeepSafe is also broken. I would suggest they change the name to KeepSafish Roulette I cannot recommend this app. It’s not being maintained properly. I do not understand how they end up with a 4.7 average rating!
  • Not saving photos

    By Zeekmeek
It’s not saving photos anymore. Haven’t been able to save something for about two weeks at this point. It has lost it’s reliability.
