Install Crestron app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using Crestron on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Crestron"
The search will reveal the Crestron app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Crestron is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Crestron.
Now enjoy Crestron on PC.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Crestron,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Crestron" » then Click "Install".
- Crestron will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Barely an iOS app, Crestron scrapes by

App works but is slow to load. Most annoyingly this app doesn’t support iOS features like 3D Touch so to do something simple like turn all lights off you have to open app, rotate phone, wait for it to finish loading then navigate to the right screen. Compare that to Apple Home where it’s one touch without even opening the app. And forget about support for AppleTV, we are still waiting for this app to add that. I don’t know how companies like this app can survive if they don’t step up their software game. Entry level home automation systems from Apple and Google may lack the cool this app hardware but their apps are far better than this effort.
Just works

I have a few things I like to control when I’m away from my home. This app allows me to have a simple interface for those specific things, like “did I lock my front door?” or “did I turn off the HVAC?” I like having the ability to be able to control what I want, and remove what I don’t want, so the interface is clean and simple. It’s easy, fast, and it always works.
App not responding/very disappointed

My app does not respond in the security setting. My husband is able to use the security feature on his app so it is not an issue with our system. It’s very disappointing for $100 app to not work properly. Especially when we had to each buy the app due to us having different Apple ID. It would not allow family share which is utterly ridiculous. So am I now supposed to buy 2 more apps because I have teenagers??? Not happening. The system itself comes with a hefty price tag so this is just highway robbery. I won’t be recommending this product to anyone.
Crestron thieves

Have now paid $99 for a third time. Got a new phone and just wanted to reload program. They have huge balls charging me $99 even the first time after what I paid for the system. I have Savant in another home. Much better. Easier user interface. Stay away from this app. As far as developers, mine wanted hundreds of dollars, maybe over a thousand - I don’t recall to program the stupid remote to allow me to put my TV on timer to shut off automatically. Good luck with your this app programmers.
