Install Explorer for SmugMug Pro app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .
- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Explorer on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Explorer"
- The search will reveal the Explorer for SmugMug Pro app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Explorer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Explorer.
- Now enjoy Explorer on PC.

- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Explorer,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Explorer" » then Click "Install".
- Explorer for SmugMug Pro will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Select all feature missing

There was a feature to select all photos to upload and it is missing now. Why did they remove this very useful feature?
Without the ability to select all photos this app is completely useless. I don’t think anyone has the patience or time to upload hundreds of photos from phone by selecting photos one by one.

Does not work. Cannot log in

I get a red box with "Error to get request" token and cannot log in
I contacted Yunhe. His first response was very telling "I get the error too, but it does not prevent me from logging in". Really? And you think this is okay? He then agreed to "look at smugmug documentation" Haven't heard from him since then. Worthless. Stay away.

Explorer for SmugMug Pro

This app is broken. I get a login error regarding an unavailable token. But the app lets me log in. But then it won’t let me download any of my pics. Not newly uploaded pics. None will download. The error message is URL not found on server. This app used to be good but now it’s a piece of crap.
