Install Geo Photo Explorer app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Geo Photo Explorer"
The search will reveal the Geo Photo Explorer app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once Geo Photo Explorer is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Geo Photo Explorer.

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use Geo Photo Explorer,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Geo Photo Explorer" » then Click "Install".
- Geo Photo Explorer will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

I use this all the time

It's so easy to find pictures by location, and especially compared to google (which brings up many unrelated photos). I like being able to see where each photo was taken
New version claims to fix crashing...

But the truth is that app which used to crash before showing any screens at all now crashes EVERY time you try to go to the settings and EVERY time you try to return from selecting the middle icon on the left side tool bar to show the photos in a flip chart photo style. you can get there but you can't get back. I am sure there are more but this STILL crippled app is getting deleted again.
Two features that work...

The app crashes tapping the More...\Settings cell (running on iOS 6). Tapping "load photos" does nothing (makes app useless for why I downloaded it). The only features that work for me is the Map view (I know where I am), and the iAds banner...
Doesn't waste your time.
