Software Features and Description

1. InSideControl is an application of Schneider Electric that allows you to control and monitor in an easy and intuitive way your KNX home automation installation in real time from any place, either from the local network or from anywhere in the world through the Internet by using VPN connection.

2. The application connects to the KNX installation via KNX InSideControl IP gateway with a wireless connection (local or remote) or a 3G connection (depending on resources and options for your mobile phone provider).

3. With the configuration software InSideControl Builder, the application can be adapted to the desired installation in which you can create different types of widgets or controls to monitor and/or control the KNX installation.

4. •Display brightness, current, voltage, consumption, IP cameras, wind speed, notifications (rain, flood, wind, gas, presence).

5. •HVAC: Operating modes, setpoint temperature, actual temperature, fan speed, air conditioning On/Off etc.

6. Every KNX InSideControl IP gateway can be connected with 5 mobile devices/applications.

7. The application lets you control up to 20 rooms with max.

Install InSideControl app on your Windows in 4 steps below:

Download an Android emulator for PC:
Get either Bluestacks or the Nox App >> . We recommend Bluestacks because you can easily find solutions online if you run into problems while using it. Download Bluestacks PC software Here >> .

Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.

Using InSideControl on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:

Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "InSideControl"
The search will reveal the InSideControl app icon. Open, then click "Install".
Once InSideControl is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including InSideControl.
Now enjoy InSideControl on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native InSideControl Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:

To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.

To use InSideControl,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "InSideControl" » then Click "Install".
- InSideControl will now be available on your Windows start-menu.
