  • Leak color & opacity controls do not work.

    By Sandy Amandie (Pcmac user)

There are still bugs...so I want to be concise about the one that is the most bothersome. When you apply a leak overlay, you CANNOT modify both the opacity and color, each time you switch to the other adjustment tab, it resets the other. For example, if I apply a leak, the opacity is automatically at 80, so adjust it to 50, and go to the color adjustment, immediately the opacity is reset to 80. Conversely, if I adjust the color first, going to adjust the opacity resets the color to the default position. You cannot even apply the filter with one correct setting, and pull down the filter history panel to go back and edit the leak for the other setting, color/opacity, because this causes even more bugs to spark, like the image saving without the filter applied at all, even though you can see it applied in the interface editing display. Between this and the other bugs, as well as the fact that my past purchases $$ were rendered a waste with the UI overhaul I have not been very happy about this app :(
  • I like the app but

    By Somps (Pcmac user)

I do like the app. I just wish it had a beefier choice before having to pay for more. It does have some good choices without having to purchase more. I do think filters are getting out of hand, but what developers are doing is selling you a basic version and calling it pro, which is not acceptable, but who's going to stop them? A pro version means it's got everything in there. So, people are buying these "Pro" apps and getting a limited set and not wanting to pay for the better filters. These developers didn't make them; they used a template that someone else made. So people use these "lesser" filter sets which looks like second or third rate jobs and publishing these pictures on the web. It's better if they get a free graphics software, like picasa by Google, which has a button that basically fixes the lighting and coloring in your photo. It's free and a lot better than these other filters.
  • Brilliant! Customizable! Elegant!

    By lunablue (Pcmac user)

I'm an avid iPhotographer and pride myself on being very discriminating when it comes photo apps. This is hands-down one of the best photo editing apps I've ever used. The features are many and highly customizable. While that is always quite true in this app, the interface is as lovely and simple as they come -- right down to the splash page. This is an elegant piece of programming. When it's this good, I'm happy to spend the $5 for the full set of features. If I could suggest anything, I would like to see some additional slider controls for enriching the blacks and pulling up the whites (beyond controls for shadows & highlights). Perhaps that can be a part of a future update?? All that said, this is a fantastic app. Happy editing!
  • Gets better every time!!!

    By lorenafrith (Pcmac user)

So far I have noticed a MAJOR improvement from the previous version I tried. Almost all glitches have been fixed. Thanks. Really enjoying it now. ----------------- Glitches on the iPhone 6plus. The filters are decent with plenty of options but it's glitchy in the iPhone 6 plus. It's very hard to swipe left or right between options and the side window always tries to open when I swipe left. This is consistently happening whenever I try to change any option and it's very annoying making the app pretty useless. It might take three or four swipes before the option bar finally moved a little. I also don't like how it doesn't allow you to choose photos from your Favorites folder. This is seriously a big NONO for me since those are the images I care to edit. Not impressed and I'm glad I tried it but it's no where near snapseed for editing the image or VSCOcam for filters or my new favorite fotograf. If they can only fix those two features I would gladly give it another try. For now it's a no for me.
