This is to be added as a widget to your Notification Center on your phone or tablet. If you're complaining about ads in the app you should really learn about its main use.
P.S. There are no ads in the widget area

Downloaded during an outage(7/20), and it initially said the server was down. When I refreshed, it falsely reported that the servers were up. New version is much more accurate and reliable. Thanks!

It literally takes about 3 seconds for it to load and tell you if the server is down or not, which is much better than waiting for Pokemon go to load
