Install Resize This app on your Windows in 4 steps below:
- Download an Android emulator for PC:

- Install the emulator:
On your computer, goto the Downloads folder » click to install Bluestacks.exe or Nox.exe » Accept the License Agreements » Follow the on-screen prompts to complete installation.
- Using Resize This on PC [Windows 10/ 11]:
- Open the Emulator app you installed » goto its search bar and search "Resize This"
- The search will reveal the Resize This app icon. Open, then click "Install".
- Once Resize This is downloaded inside the emulator, locate/click the "All apps" icon to access a page containing all your installed applications including Resize This.
- Now enjoy Resize This on PC.

For Windows 11, check if there's a native Resize This Windows app here » ». If none, follow the steps below:
- To get started, Download the OpenPC software »
- Upon installation, open OpenPC app » goto "Playstore on PC" » click "Configure_Download" button. This will auto-download and install PlayStore on your computer.
- To use Resize This,
- Login to the PlayStore we just installed
- Search for "Resize This" » then Click "Install".
- Resize This will now be available on your Windows start-menu.

Launch the app, take a screenshot (Command + Shift + 4), drag the file onto the menu bar and it is instantly resized. I had been resizing them manually with an automator service I had created but I had to divide the longest side by 2 and enter that dimension… this is much easier. Thanks!

Overall happy with this App

Will replace RetinaCapture for me.
One change I would like to see is an option to set a default to do a retina and a 1x or just a 1x screenshot. All my screenshots are standard resolution so its just an extra step to deleta the retina version. Also being able to take an image directly to the clipboard would be nice instead of saving to a file.

This app does not work. It does not have options for resizing setting at all, ruins the photo and is not user friendly at all. There is no way to use or see any menu so it is useless. Buyer beware.

Doesnt work anymore after macOS Sierra upgrade

hello i’ve used this app for about a year as its the only one i could get to annotate and reduce image size when adding images to emails with outlook 2011. Now i’ve upgraded to macOS Sierra and it no longer works. Anyone considering upgrading note that you will probably lose your ability to use this app.
Please fix.
